 JOB PURPOSE

Manage the Global Key Account policy, global strategies, relationships with various market segments (corporate, SME, MICE, 4TMC, global online travel agent (OTA), special segments and Special markets) and position Emirates as one of the key players in these segments. Be responsible for account management, the successful completion of all global RFPs (Request for Proposal) and defining business processes to ensure profitability is maximised in line with Company’s overall objectives; success being defined through balanced and measurable objectives which should be easily communicable to key stakeholders. Ensure that segment performance is measured and reported on a regular basis so that appropriate actions can be taken to achieve the set objectives. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVE AREAS Generic - Account manage global customers and partners, forming the pivotal communication point between the companies. Work with global key accounts to formulate joint medium term and annual strategies, jointly writing business/marketing plans outlining how the relationship will develop. Implement business plans, monitoring and exploring opportunities throughout the year, and reporting progress at predefined intervals to key stakeholders. Strategically position and develop the various market segments and position Emirates as one of the key players. - Implement World class training programmes (with L&D) for the sales force to develop corporate and key account management skills, with specific focus on sales force empowerment and a needs based account analysis. - Define service standards, points of contact and responsibilities with head office and stations. Bring together stakeholders from all parties to ensure the productive and efficient development of the key account. Set policy to define the approach and structure towards global and regional key accounts. Clearly define the parameters for qualification and acceptance to prevent wastage of resources being deployed on low yielding accounts, with little potential. - Define (with all stakeholders) a medium term and an annual key account strategy. The strategies will be implemented at a station, regional and global level and must be measurable and give a true indication of key account performance. Ensure product and segment awareness across the whole commercial organization by developing appropriate internal information bulletins, collaterals and product trainings. - Provide regular reports on each global key account highlighting any deviances to the agreed business plans and revenue targets. Recommend potential/appropriate corrective actions and negotiate with all key stakeholders to implement such actions to ensure revenue is maximised. - Review, analyse and recommend optimum incentive schemes, where appropriate, with an emphasis not only on stimulating and achieving maximum incremental premium class revenue growth, but also on keeping costs within budget. Global Key accounts - Be responsible for the completion of all commercially viable RFPs to the required Company standard and in a timely fashion, negotiating effectively with other Head Office departments and outstation teams to ensure the needs of all parties are met. - Ensure that negotiated and agreed deals resulting from successful RFPs are implemented in an accurate, cost effective and timely manner, streamlining processes to maximise business benefits for all stakeholders. - Identify potential new Global key Accounts through the analysis of all available data. Influence all key stakeholders to ensure all incremental revenue opportunities are maximised. Keep abreast of industry and market place pricing and products, particularly in respect of EK competitors. Provide regular analysis, including market shares, BSP data and flown revenue reports. The reports to be distributed to all key stakeholders and used in the development of appropriate strategies. - Research, plan, recommend and develop GKA workshops with the sales teams across the network to discuss industry trends, opportunities, challenges, agreed processes and procedures and brainstorm potential improvements. The objective being to motivate and identify incremental revenue/cost saving opportunities. Corporate Sales - Develop procedures and policies for the servicing of global TMC’s and keep on top of industry developments that have an influence on the airline – agent relationship (e.g. direct connect with GDS’s, etc.) - Manage the relationship with the global key MICE contacts (PCO’s,Dubai Convention Bureau, etc.) and ensure that we leverage the Emirates group strengths by working together with CSI, Sky Cargo and other group companies. - Evaluate joint communication / promotional activities, plan and implement on a global level in co-operation with the global sales force. Develop and Manage the SME (Business Rewards) tool in close cooperation with Emirates Group IT and the E-commerce team and ensure that adequate support structure is given to the sales force. - Review, analyse and recommend optimum incentive schemes, where appropriate, with an emphasis not only on stimulating and achieving maximum incremental premium class revenue growth, but also on keeping costs within budget. - Manage the American Express IAP program for their gold / platinum card holder and ensure that Emirates has good visibility within this program to generate maximum revenue. Leisure Market & Special Segments - In cooperation with the Manager Leisure Market & Special Segments, formulate short and medium term segment strategies for special (student, cruise and marine) segments, special markets (medical travel, religious, hajj, Urmah, business schools etc) and OTA segments. - Constantly search for new market segments (through research, attendance of fairs) and evaluate the potential for Emirates.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications: - In commercial disciplines w ith emphasis on economics, transportation, sales, marketing, business management and related studies. Experience: - Experience in the airline industry, in a sales or distribution position. Specific experience of the sales environment of the airline industry, including an understanding of the Internet, Direct Sales, key accounts & Marketing and process development. Knowledge/skills: - Strong people, team management and leadership skills preferably in a multi-cultural environment. - Ability to communicate, negotiate and influence effectively. - Experience in cross-functional project management and systems implementation would be an asset. - Systematic and logical approach to problem solving and a capacity to work around problems. - Ability to adapt and respond quickly to a fast changing IT environment where the business requirements need to be translated to project charters.

 Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Officer to join our Project Management team (PMT). Saudi Aramco Project Management Teams are directly responsible and accountable for the delivery of best in class capital projects assigned to department. PMT is directly involved in executing and managing assigned projects safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards of integrity and compliance. This will involve engineering design, procurement and construction of various sizes, types and complexity of small, medium to multi-billion-dollar mega size projects. Some of these mega projects include the Marjan Increment Program, the Crude Oil to Chemicals program, the Gas Compression Program, the Berri & Zuluf Increment and AMIRAL Program.

Project Management Departments manages and executes projects usually from multiple site offices or engineering contractor design offices, geographically scattered throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Environmental Officer's primary role is in charge of successively environmental issues that range from advocacy, awareness and event organizing to drafting/reviewing environmental policies. The officer also ensures that environmental policies are well implemented by Contractors/subcontractors and any environmental campaigns are effective at the project sites. The general job of an environmental officer involves evaluating, planning and implementing of projects environmental issues.

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor degree in environmental engineering and or science with advanced degree or other advanced environmental related degree is highly desirable.

Certification in his area of specialty such as QEP, EP, RPO, CIH,NEBOSH, QEH, PG and Meteorologist.

Fifteen (15) years of experience , preferably in the oil industry or similar process industry including several years with full responsibility, such that the incumbent is clearly recognized as an expert in environmental issues.

Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) and no second language is required.

Must familiar with Environmental Management Systems Standards-ISO 14001 series, Occupational Health and Safety Management System - ISO 45001 and Quality Management System-ISO 9001.

Must have an in-depth knowledge of International regulations and conventions relevant to offshore and onshore environment.

Teamwork skills essential, including the ability to collaborate cross functionally with colleagues and in line with tight deadlines & strong influencing skills and stakeholder management experience (internal and external) are desirable.

Duties & Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

Assist in the implementation of an environmental compliance monitoring programmer in line with best international practice, to monitor the continued implementation of all regulatory requirements.

Assist in the review, track and drive close out of rectification plans arising from internal or external audit or compliance review process.

Assist in the management, review and reporting on surface, potable and ground water, noise and air quality monitoring.

Support reporting to PMT, Senior Management and Board Sub-Committee as appropriate with regard to compliance monitoring and environmental performance issues.

Driving and supporting the projects in embedding the environmental management system and sustainability principles within the organization and our Contractors, Subcontractors & vendors.

Assist in the evaluation from an environmental perspective of proposed developments relating to infrastructure, equipment, process and procedural change.

Assisting in the continuous improvement of environmental management at the project’s sites and throughout its lifecycles;

Supporting the delivery of environmental awareness training through toolbox talks on EMS Codes of Practice to applicable departments as required.

Proven ability to interpret applicable legislation and develop appropriate policy and procedures to demonstrate compliance in coordination with the business.

Subject matter expertise with regard to the development and implementation of environmental management systems.

Experience of developing appropriate oversight and compliance monitoring programmers in challenging operational environments such as the airports would be desirable. Provides expert environmental consulting to all Company organizations, outside vendors and manufacturers, universities and government agencies on matters relating to environmental issues.

Provides capital and operations program leadership by originating and carrying out environmental studies to determine potential problems and remedies to existing problems and resolve complex technical problems, increase revenue, optimize processes, protect the environment, or improve safety.

Evaluates and introduces best practices and new Environmental technologies from all over the world to help the Company achieve Best in Class positions in the oil business.

Works on or with Task Forces assigned to investigate major environmental incidents or solve specific problems. Undertakes special assignments requiring extensive technical experience and discretion when dealing with outside organizations.

Evaluates the capabilities of vendors and contractors to determine their acceptability to perform major services to Aramco. Reviews, analyses and comments on major projects undertaken by engineering/environmental consultants.

Promotes a learning environment and implements self-development to maintain and improve expert status within his environmental specialty.

About Us

The Engineering & Project Management (E&PM) business line studies, plans and oversees the construction of the Company’s new facilities, including some of the biggest and most complex projects in the petroleum industry. Recently, Saudi Aramco completed the largest capital program in its history that included new or expanded oil, gas and petrochemical facilities, raising maximum sustainable crude oil production capacity to 12 million barrels per day and significantly increasing gas production and processing capacities. Among the recently completed projects was the largest crude oil increment in the history of the industry: Khurais, with a production capacity of 1.2 million barrels per day.     Organizational Setting

    The Programme Management Unit (PMU) of the FAO-Saudi Technical Cooperation Programme (2019-2025) facilitates, coordinates and manages all technical and advisory services to be provided by FAO to the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MoEWA). The project 'UTF/SAU/051/SAU Strengthening MoEWA's Capacity to Implement the Sustainable Rural Agricultural Development Programme' is the first project that has been approved within the framework of FAO-Saudi Technical Cooperation Programme (2019-2025). The project will provide technical and advisory assistance to the MoEWA in implementing its flagship sustainable rural agricultural development programme that has recently been approved within the context of the National Transformation Programme of the Saudi Vision 2030. The project expected results will be achieved through implementation of nine project components: 1) Development of coffee Arabica production, processing and marketing; 2) Development of beekeeping and honey production; 3) Development of rose production and trade; 4) Development of subtropical fruits production, processing and marketing; 5) Strengthening capacity of small-scale fishermen and fish farmers; 6) Strengthening capacity of small-scale livestock herders; 7) Development of rain-fed cereals production; 8) Enhancing value addition from smallholdings and rural activities; and 9) Strengthening MoEWA's capacity in sustainable management of rangelands, forests and natural resources to support rural livelihoods.

    The incumbent will be part of the Programme Management Unit of the FAO-Saudi Technical Cooperation Programme in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

     

    Reporting Lines

    The National Professional Officer reports directly to the FAO Programme Coordinator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in consultation with the Chief Technical Adviser (CTA) of the project and in collaboration with the Chief Technical Adviser of the Sustainable Rural Agricultural Development Programme.

    Programme development and management, coordination and operational support based on the knowledge of the local conditions, culture, language, and institutions of Saudi Arabia.

    Key Functions

           Participates in policy dialogue and advises government authorities, local, national and international institutions in the areas of FAO's activities and liaises with other UN agencies. Represents FAO at inter-agency meetings;

           Promotes the image of FAO through advocacy of the Organization's mandate, programmes, national priorities and activities including the coordination of development and maintenance of communication tools such as website, press releases and publications, and supports the implementation of FAO's regulatory frameworks (Codex Alimentarius, Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries, Safe Use of Pesticides, etc.) in the country;

           Coordinates and manages the maintenance of country data on food, crops, livestock, forestry and fisheries, including information on external aid in FAO's corporate systems and monitors and communicates changes in national policies affecting the agricultural sector;

           Takes the lead in producing technical, economic and policy studies as well as developing country level development frameworks such as the Country Programming Framework (CPF) and the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF);

           Identifies, formulates and coordinates the preparation of programme and project proposals, monitors FAO field programme implementation, ensuring that all operational activities are carried out in line with the work plan and the project document, and makes recommendations on how to improve results and increase efficiency;

           Briefs, trains and supervises lower grade level programme staff regarding all aspects of the job. Ensures adherence to procedures and work requirements and accuracy and diligence of the work provided.

     

    Specific Functions

           Advises and coordinates with the FAO Programme Coordinator , liaises with the PMU and the MoEWA to ensure the flow of cooperation and coordination in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of progress of the project component in accordance with the project document;

           Works in close collaboration with and ensures timely and full coordination with the 'Project Focal Points' to facilitate the implementation of the Project, prepare periodical reports, for organization of the Regional Steering Committee meetings, and acts as reporter in during the meetings, and ensures timely preparation of the Committee minutes and their distribution;

           Co-leads comprehensive review of subtropical fruits value chain; production, processing and marketing and the organization of diagnostic studies to give direction to the sustainable development of the sector;

           Contributes to the identification, pilot testing and promotion of sustainable good agricultural practices including efficient fertilization, pruning and harvesting practices among subtropical fruits growers and assessment of crop water requirements for crops grown under the various farming systems;

           Contributes to the development of a catalogue of major subtropical fruits diseases, pests and weeds in the target regions, and to the development and implementation of an IPM programme for prevention and control of subtropical fruit pests and diseases to ensure access of their growers to pests and diseases control services;

           Ensures the provision of technical support and pilot testing of sound irrigation systems and small rain water harvesting structures and technologies in selected areas and facilitates the development and adoption of improved post-harvest interventions covering all aspects of the subtropical fruits production value chain;

           Assists the establishment and operation of modern subtropical fruits nursery and tissue culture units; identifies, produces, distributes and promotes healthy, drought and pest resistance high yielding fruits varieties seedlings;

           Co-leads and/or supervises preparation and dissemination of various written project component outputs, e.g. background papers, sector reviews, technical reports, sections of reports and studies, manuals, guidelines and checklists and knowledge products;

           Co-leads development of demand driven and responsive partnerships to benefit Saudi Arabia from proven innovation and good practices in the south and north for subtropical fruit production, processing and marketing.

           Co-leads the development of post-harvest technologies and infrastructure, marketing strategies and value chain analysis for subtropical fruits agrifood incubation programme;

           Contributes in situation analysis of existing small subtropical fruit farmers agricultural cooperatives and associations in the target regions and develop pilot business model for them;

           Assists in the development of an appropriate contract farming models and other direct marketing strategies for small-scale subtropical fruit growers;

           Assesses and develops a needs-based training and capacity development programme to strengthen skills of small subtropical fruit producers and food chain actors;

           Contributes to the identification and promotes adoption of appropriate farm mechanization and technologies as well as irrigation scheduling for subtropical fruits production;

           Coordinates with SRAD National Director and national stakeholders to ensure close working relations with MoEWA branches and other organisations, institutions and local authorities, to ensure timely conducting of country activities, including contractual arrangements, and inform the CTA of problems and obstacles that need attention and specific assistance.

           Provides support in the design and organization of social, qualitative and quantitative studies including but not limited to gender mainstreaming, productive family issues, entrepreneurship, internal migration and with respect to rural people and youth participation and opinion considerations;

           Ensures that SRADP investment and supported components including the provision of equipment, construction water harvesting, nurseries, extension centers and others include marketing facilities are timely completed.

           Advanced University degree in horticulture, plant breeding or any other related field;

           Working knowledge (proficient - Level C) of Arabic and limited knowledge (intermediate - Level B) of English.
