Description:

The BI Manager will manage all our BI / Analytics efforts across the company. Your objective is to make sure that all stakeholders are making better data-informed decisions, and delivering data-driven product capabilities. In this role, you will:

Be a thought partner to business stakeholders, helping them identify, measure, and track KPIs best suited to their business area and goals. Design and execute ad hoc analyses/models which help stakeholders identify growth opportunities Ensure high availability of our data / BI systems, and drive adoption of self-service reporting tools for all team members Lead a small team to design and implement data-driven capabilities, and deliver them as data products to the Product Development teams.

Responsibilities Identify, classify and explore business data sources including products and operational databases, marketing analytics databases, CRM, financial system, HRMS system, and other related business data sources. Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources. Maintain and upkeep libraries of data model references, data access templates, or other reusable knowledge assets that will serve in identifying, and organizing consistent and accurate data retrieval from source systems.

Generate the designs and visuals for reports that explore and summarize business, financial, or technical data for review by specialty officers, managers, executives, clients, and other stakeholders. Work with stakeholders on synthesizing current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to explore, produce and visualize data.

Analyzing Data or Information by Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts. Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships by developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with stakeholders, and maintaining them over time. Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work by developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

Work with engineering teams and technologists in designing and implementing robust and well-maintained, data retrieval, cleansing, deduplication, aggregation, linkage, and enrichment scripts and programs. Own and work actively with business intelligence tools or systems, including design of intermediate databases, metadata, and spreadsheets. Build and maintain final output through business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods. Train and develop stakeholders’ capabilities so they can execute and produce required information from the business intelligence stack with no or minimal duplication of efforts.

Work with the security and data privacy team(s) to adhere to strict security policies in segregating access to information based on responsibilities and authorities of stakeholders. Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users.
