Job Description:

FIELD & LEER BUILDING:
1)LEER/FIELD PERMIT SYSTEM AND ALL THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS/VERIFICATION FOR ALL ACTIVIES
2)LOTO SHALL BE PROVIDED AND IMPLEMENTED AS PER BU
3)LEER SUBSTATION /MCC PANELPANEL VERIFICATION AND STARTUP
4)ALL ITR CHECKS VERIFICATION
5)INTERLOCK CHECKS
6)EDG FUNCTION TEST
7)ALL MOTOR SOLO RUN TO BE PERFORMED
8)ALL PUMPS AND COMPRESSORS MRT NEED TO BE COMPLETED
9)BATTERY ROOM VERIFICATION
10) INSPECT SWITCHGEAR FOR PHYSICAL DAMAGE BEFORE PERFORMING TEST.
11) VERIFY THE NAME PLATE DETAILS OF THE SWITCHGEAR AGAINST THE APPROVED DRAWINGS.
12) CHECK SWITCHGEAR EARTHING IS DONE PROPERLY AS PER APPROVED DRAWING.
13)CARRY OUT WIRING AND TERMINAL CHECKS ON CONTROL AND AUXILIARY CIRCUITS, AS PER APPROVED SCHEMATIC DRAWINGS.
14)BOM VERIFICATION AGAINST SCHEMATIC DRAWING
15)CHECK THE FUNCTIONING OF CIRCUIT BREAKER AND RECORD THE RESULT.
16)PRIMARY INJECTION TEST
17)PROTECTIVE RELAY TEST (SECONDARY INJECTION TEST)
18)STARTER / MCCB / ISOLATOR CHECKING FOR LVSG SYSTEM
19)ENERGIZATION AND FUNCTION /INTERLOCK VERIFICATION FOR ALL EQUIPMENTS
20)VISUALLY INSPECT FOR EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL MECHANICAL DAMAGE FOR LIGHTING SYSTEM.
21VERIFY THAT THE NAME PLATE DETAILS/ IFC/DATA SHEET ARE CORRECT AS PER APPROVED DOCUMENT FOR ALL SYSTEM.
22)CHECK THAT THE EARTHING CONNECTIONS ARE PROPER AND CHECK EARTHING CONTINUITY.
23) ENERGIZE THE LIGHTING MCCBS.
24) SIMULATE AND CHECK THE OPERATION OF TIMERS/PHOTOCELL SWITCHES
25)POWER UP ALL WELDING SOCKETS ,LIGHTING PANELS AND ALL EQUIPMENTS
26)FUNCTION CHECK FOR ALL EQUIPMENT AND LIGHTING ALL SKIDS AND VENDOR ITEMS
27)VERIFATION AGAINST DRAWING IFC/DATA SHEET FOR ALL SKIDS AND VENDOR ITEMS
29)UPS POWERUP
30)VERIFICATION OF VOLTAGE,UPS
31)DISCHARGE TEST
33)INSPECT THE MOTORS AND LCS FOR ALL SKIDS AND VENDOR ITEMS
34)WINDING RESISTENCE TESTING FOR ALL SKIDS AND VENDOR ITEMS MOTORS
35)IR TESTING FOR ALL SKIDS AND VENDOR ITEMS
36)HVAC commissioning and startup

Minimum Qualification: Diploma /Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience: Diploma-10–15 years in oil & gas projects;
Bachelor’s Degree -8-15 years in oil & gas projects

Overseas experience : Yes(Bahrain is preferred)

Documentation Responsibility: Test packs, energization permits, red-lines, handover dossiers

Soft Skills / Leadership: Leadership, coordination, strong HSE awareness,technically strong

Standards knowledge (added advantage ): IEC, IEEE, API; Compressor station experience

Minimum Key Technical Competencies: MV/LV switchgear, MCCs, motors, VFDs, protection relays, energization
