Long Description Job Summary
The Sr. Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and comprehensive management of digital marketing campaigns to drive eCommerce business growth and product promotion. This role is pivotal in enhancing online brand visibility, increasing website traffic, and acquiring qualified leads and customers. The incumbent will collaborate closely with trading, content, and development teams to ensure cohesive messaging, optimized campaign execution, and data-driven performance measurement.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategize, plan, and execute a full spectrum of digital marketing campaigns encompassing SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media management (organic and paid), paid advertising (search, social, display), and affiliate marketing.
- Expertly manage and optimize performance and ROI across key paid marketing channels, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other relevant platforms.
- Provide proactive day-to-day oversight of active campaigns, ensuring consistent brand representation and adherence to brand guidelines across all digital touchpoints.
- Define and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and create comprehensive performance dashboards to rigorously track, evaluate, and report on campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate effectively with content creators, designers, and web development teams to produce high-performing landing pages and engaging campaign content optimized for conversion.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analyze evolving customer behavior, competitor digital activities, and comprehensive digital performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Implement strategies to optimize the end-to-end customer journey, from initial digital ad engagement to successful on-site conversion.
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, content personalization, and rigorous A/B testing to maximize engagement and drive sales.
- Develop and meticulously manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring all campaigns are delivered effectively, on schedule, and within allocated financial parameters.
- Generate regular, insightful performance reports with clear analysis, actionable recommendations, and strategic implications for senior management.
- Actively support the achievement of eCommerce sales targets through the development and execution of targeted digital promotional campaigns aligned with product launches, seasonal initiatives, and inventory management strategies.
- Maintain a proactive understanding of the latest trends, emerging technologies, and evolving best practices within the digital marketing and eCommerce landscape.
- Expert proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Business Suite (Facebook & Instagram), and experience with other platforms such as TikTok Ads and Snapchat Ads.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics (including GA4), Google Data Studio, and user behavior analysis tools like Hotjar.
- Deep understanding of on-page and off-page SEO principles, comprehensive keyword research methodologies, and strategic SEM planning.
- Hands-on experience with leading platforms such as Klaviyo and Mailchimp, including advanced segmentation and automation techniques.
- Solid understanding of various Content Management Systems (CMS) including Shopify, Magento, and WordPress.
- Practical experience with design tools like Canva and basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for ad creative preparation.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective retargeting strategies, advanced audience segmentation, and comprehensive customer funnel mapping.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools for comprehensive campaign reporting and in-depth performance analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- 4–6 years of demonstrable, hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a significant focus on the eCommerce sector.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition strategies, sales funnel optimization methodologies, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
- Comprehensive understanding of the broader digital marketing ecosystem, including attribution models, and advanced data analytics capabilities.
