Government Relations Officer, Tarzkar, Dubai, KSA

We need a Government Relations Officer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain effective relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and public institutions.

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the organization’s operations.

• Represent the company in meetings, public hearings, and industry forums to communicate policy positions.

• Draft position papers, regulatory submissions, and official correspondence for government agencies.

• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, licensing, and reporting requirements.

• Advise management on risks and opportunities related to government policy and political changes.

• Coordinate internal teams to prepare for government audits, inspections, or requests.

• Organize and attend lobbying efforts and advocacy campaigns where appropriate.

• Track and report on government initiatives that may impact business strategies.

Job Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or regulatory roles.

• Strong understanding of local, regional, and national legislative processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to influence and negotiate with government stakeholders.

• High level of professionalism, discretion, and political sensitivity.
