Job Description
Job Purpose:
To support DP World Forwarding Organization in all aspects of setting-up, maintaining, using and enhancing DP World´s Rate Repository/ Pricing Tool (NPM) and the Quotation Tool (QT). This includes user training for both tools as well as to support same persons to establish and to maintain complete, current and competitive rates in the rate tool.
In addition, regular analysis work of uploaded data shall ensure a constant high quality of stored data can be maintained. And appropriate action is taken towards constant tool enhancement.
Key Accountabilities:
To train tool users to fully understand concepts of respective tool (NPM and QT) and to enable an effective and efficient use of same (train the trainer approach)
To ensure through regular monitoring “buy”/ “cost” (make versus buy) and “sell” rates (margin) provided in NPM are Complete, Current and Competitive (3C)
To actively/regularly participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
NPM Brick ownership - to collect, prioritize and qualify tool enhancement requests submitted by the organization
To propose ways and means to improve use of NPM data and to participate in workshops aiming to enhance current use of tools and current reporting/ analysis toolset in cooperation with Tech-Team
To stay updated with general market and industry specific developments
To participate in project work (ownership and/or participation) as appointed for
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 10 years work experience in LSP environment, in-depth knowledge of LSP industry and its value drivers
Professional degree in freight forwarding would be an asset
Familiar with operational procedures and price setting in LSP environment
Capable to deliver results with short notice
Open minded towards new developments/ innovations
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical capabilities (root cause analysis)
Good written and oral communication skills
Open to fully adapt towards a digital working environment
Strong PC skills (Window, MS-Office applications) preferred
