We have an opportunity for Senior Finance/ Controllership Supervisor in Dhahran, Eastern Province, KSA to support the Enterprise Controllership Model and ensure alignment with the target Finance Operating Model and key stakeholders, ensure consistency with Commercial Finance, Finance Operations and Specialist Functions and assist Honeywell Finance Leadership to drive Controllership HOS initiatives and improve process standardization, effectiveness and organizational productivity.
Senior Finance/Controllership Supervisor Responsibilities:

Applies the appropriate level of deliberation to complex and high-risk matters including interactions and consultation with stakeholders as appropriate and necessary.
Demonstrates ability to develop and manage people and keep them motivated and technically adept.
Focuses efforts on those matters that affect results in the best interest of Honeywell.
Communicates clearly and succinctly using written and verbal skills to influence, negotiate and collaborate effectively.
Demonstrates ability to understand big picture and present financial risks and opportunities of complex business situations to Business and functional leaders.
Effectively builds relationships within the Controllership group and SBU/Corporate Honeywell Contacts.
Quickly adapts to changing circumstances and business conditions. Drive changes and work with cross functional teams to implement the changes
Act as the Key Finance Point of contact for any critical issues related to costs, infrastructure, programs and Projects
Functional Transformation & Honeywell Operating System (HOS):
Support the Enterprise Controllership Model and ensure alignment with the target Finance Operating Model and key stakeholders. Ensure consistency with Commercial Finance, Finance Operations and Specialist Functions
Assist Honeywell Finance Leadership to drive Controllership HOS initiatives and improve process standardization, effectiveness and organizational productivity
US/Local GAAP reporting and Controls:
Drive and co-ordinate the period-end closing activities. Ensure the accounts are recorded and reported on-time, with quality and in full compliance with US GAAP
Manage finance operation and/or outsourced service providers for preparing statutory filings
Partner with Honeywell Tax department to (1) Review and ensure the timely and accurate local income tax filing and tracking of deferred tax assets and liabilities (2) Review and ensure VAT, Business Tax and Withholding Tax returns are filed timely, accurately and completely.
Monthly payroll filing for Pakistan entity.
Closely work with different stakeholders on the resolution of complex, material accounting issues with alignment with SBG
Execute key controls including reviewing key/ high risk Accounts Reconciliation and support performing significant/ high risk Balance Sheet Reviews, and ensure timely remediation of control risks
Investigate accounting and control related matters as assigned
Support new entity formations/LES and ensure all Honeywell policies and process for FOM model are followed coordinating with all relevant stakeholders.
Complete the FOM/GDM model for Algeria.
Corporate card (local BNPP) and concur setup for Algeria
Ensure Domiciliation for imports for Algeria for smooth payment process
Manage relationship with internal and external auditors including group, statutory and tax auditors
Support planning and coordinating all internal and external audits (Deloitte for KSA and Bahrain and PwC for Algeria).
Support Honeywell Tax department in all local tax authority examination by maintaining adequate legal entity documentation and providing information as required in a timely manner
Ensure all critical tax matters are escalated timely to Honeywell Tax Department for awareness and resolution
Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory financial requirements/statements for entities in Scope.
Review and approve where-ever required statutory filings and other ad hoc reports required by government authorities, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate with Tax consultant (Ernst and Young) in these countries for compliances.
Partner with Honeywell Treasury department to safeguard and optimize free cash, investment of free cash and to coordinate restructuring, acquisition funding, etc.
Partner with SBG business leaders to provide value-added finance support
Support Board Meeting coordination, preparation and presentation
Support IKTEVA and localization program in KSA
Submit ESR (Economic Substance reporting) in Bahrain
CbCr reporting for Bahrain and Algeria (TP reporting)
Annual Tax filing for Directors of Pakistan entity.
Qualifications
University degree in Accounting/Economics/Commerce
Professional qualification required; CMA/CPA/ACCA Qualification or equivalent
Strong leadership required, will manage a big team in different remote locations, and will be heavily interacting with leadership team
~10 years with at least 3 years in managerial position
Be remotely managed, and can work independently
General finance manager role – leadership traits
Strong communication & presentation skills
Good English language is a must
MNC – Preferable
