We are currently recruiting for an AR Accountant to be based in our UAE office as part of the growth of our awesome Finance team!
Responsibilities:
Daily sales reconciliations of point-of-sale (POS) systems, e-commerce platforms, and other sales channels
Daily sales reconciliation of sales transactions vs Collections retail online and offline channels
Trade Receivable account reconciliation for Marketplace, Wholesale, Payment service provider and courier partners
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between actual sales, revenue, and recorded data
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to address issues related to missing or incomplete sales data
Ensure accurate posting of sales and related transactions in the accounting system
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including revenue reconciliation and reporting
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance sales reconciliation processes and controls
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Proven experience in sales reconciliation, preferably in the retail
Proficiency in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and e-commerce platforms is a plus
