Job Purpose:

To provide prompt support to our users is always been the highest priority. The helpdesk team provide level-1 functional and technical support, troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software problems, including desktop, laptop, LAN, and remote systems with the following scope.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for Users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Deploy and configuring PCs, Workstations and Laptops.
  • Hardware and Microsoft support for the Client machines.
  • Clean PC’s hard desk with vacuum to remove dusts
  • Maintain inventory of all hardware
  • Log issues and escalate it to right technician for resolution.
  • Cabling of PCS / printers and phones for new users
  • Shifting of equipment’s for new users
  • Installation and configuration of network Printers. Software / hardware inventory
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and questions
  • Guide the Users through the problem-solving process
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Follow-up and update Users status and information
  • Monitoring of IT communications rooms against humidity / ac leakage / water detection / temperatures etc., during peak and off-peak hours.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.

Muscat

Relevant Experience in Years
3 Years

Required Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information management or computer science or any related fields
  • Minimum of 3 years solid IT Operations experience, in a 24/7 high availability environment.

Special Certification

Any Other Relevant Information

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Ability to supervise staff of highly functional technical personnel
  • Ability to provide motivational leadership and maintain high morale
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
