Video Editor, ASTUDIO, Dubai, UAE

 ASTUDIO, a one-stop-shop production and an award winning digital creative agency, is looking to employ a full-time Video Editor. The role involves a wide variety of video needs, from travel shoots, social media videos, commercials, cinema-graphs and mini commercials.

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for digitizing and organizing raw footage into polished pieces. You are required to have a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. You are also responsible for mastering finished products in time and archiving existing projects to ensure that sufficient resources exist to allow for new projects. You are also expected to develop titles using software programs, such as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.

Our team is passionate about visual media, design and our customers, so the ideal candidate will have an intuitive understanding of our customers, and an ability to highlight our aesthetic.

Responsibilities:

• Ideate and execute video concepts
• Create video look books
• Create content for social channels
• Edit video for ads and content channels

Requirements:

• Dubai based only
• Available to join immediately
• Experience in editing for Social Media
• Experience in a variety of Digital capture formats: ARRI, RED, Blackmagic, DSLR
• Expert in Video editing via Adobe Premiere
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, Photoshop, as well as host of plugins including Pluraleyes, Digital Anarchy deflicker and Neat Noise reduction
• Strong portfolio that shows excellence in art direction, storytelling and editing. Please be prepared to discuss the process of your portfolio pieces, giving us a clear indication of your specific responsibilities, and output in each
• Ability to work nights and weekends, when needed
• Able to create elements such as particles, lighting effects, vector shapes and 3D objects to composite into footage

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience working in a production studio/advertising/marketing agency
