Fragrance & Beauty Visual Merchandising Assistant - Intern, Chanel, Dubai, UAE

 As part of the Fragrances & Beauty Middle East & India Marketing Team, you will report to the Regional Merchandising Manager. You will work closely with Chanel Head Office in Paris, various internal counter parts and local teams in each country. You will contribute to the implementation of the VM strategy in the Middle East & India. Your main mission will be to support on enhancing the image of the brand across the markets and to maximize the brand exposure for each campaign.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Develop VM Guidelines for each campaign, select and create local relevant assets, with a focus on UAE
• Coordinate with the suppliers on VM Campaigns production according to the VM Calendar, across a multi-channel distribution landscape, ensure the quality is always as per CHANEL standards, follow-up on invoicing
• Ensure that VM guidelines are being followed consistently by all stakeholders, following installation timeline with supplier
• Create 3-axis planograms, focusing on make-up topics
• High-resolution visuals and movies orders and recommendations per campaigns, ensuring all the local team have the needed color proofs, approved visuals, and movie loops
• Work closely with the local teams on all their VM needs (visuals, deco elements, shipment tracking, follow up)
• Conduct regular store visits in UAE to make sure that the brand image is respected in all the distribution landscape and make sure all the needed snags are done
• Create VM reports after each campaign
• Animate the VM Community with various training/ communication tools (newsletters, key infos to relay, glossaries…)

Profile :

You have a first successful experience in Visual Merchandising or Operational Marketing, preferably in the cosmetics industry. You are very detail-oriented, creative, pro-active, dynamic and most of all very well organized with a capacity to adapt to a fast moving environment. You have strong communication skills which allow you to build strong relationships within the local teams.

English is a must, French is an advantage.
