POSITION
MISSION
Manage the bookkeeping operations according to the General and Corporate Accounting Principles and to the local legal and fiscal requirements, to ensure smooth & accurate financial processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Intercompany daily accounting (full cycle), reporting, analysis, reconciliation, maintaining vendor and customer files, resolving issues and discrepancies, responding to queries, and processing adjustments and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance of VAT and any fiscal regulations.
- Assist in month-end closing and statutory reporting requirements.
- Assist in routine activities relevant to general administration.
- Assist in research and resolution of all types of accounting issues.
- Assist in internal and external audit requirements.
- Strict compliance and implementation of internal controls.
- Other adhoc jobs or projects that will be assigned.
PROFILE
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong accounting background, preferably at least 5 years of experience in AP, AR, IC, and General Accounting
- Knowledge and experience of GCC VAT
- Knowledge and experience of ERP or accounting system, preferably SAP
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel
