STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is currently recruiting for a Cathodic Protection Project and Design Engineer to be based in our UAE offices to support our Corrosion Solutions and Cathodic Protection team across the GCC. Our Last Longer Projects in this region typically include Investigation, Design and Execution rehabilitation of commercial and industrial structures including concrete repairs, moisture and water control and corrosion control through cathodic protection or other technologies.

The successful candidate will be working with Structural Technologies Technical project Director and be responsible for:
- Ensuring all projects are successfully Engineered, Procured, Installed and Commissioned
- Engineering responsibility will include development of design calculations, design reports, method statements, shop drawings, commissioning and monitoring reports and managing client comments and review process
- Managing technical aspects of multiple self-performed complex cathodic protection projects for existing concrete structures
- Providing strong technical leadership and supervision to project teams (including other Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers, and field crews) and subcontractors
- Maintaining profit & loss responsibility as well as other project financials including invoices, projections, procurement etc
- Working closely with in-house Estimators and Sales teams to assist in reviewing bids and developing proposals
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Demonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projects
Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting position:
- Excellent written and verbal English communication and technical writing
- Min. 05 years experience of design for Cathodic Protection for multiple concrete structures (new or existing)
- BSc or higher university degree in Civil, Science or Engineering
- NACE L3 or above (not mandatory)
- Team player
- Capable of managing multiple projects and ensuring successful and on-time delivery
- Ability to lead and mentor a technical team
- Decisive individual who works well within a team
- Available immediately or within 1 month notice (maximum)
- Job location is UAE but should be flexible to travel and work for extended periods across the GCC
