Customer Service Representative (Call Centre Agent), Deluxe Holiday Homes, Dubai, UAE

 Deluxe Holiday Homes is looking for a Customer Service Representative with minimum 2-years of experience in the same field or in Call Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End to end customer interaction.
  • Answer to all new or existing guest inquires (complains, requests, questions).
  • If reservation quote is requested by customer, prepare and provide quote.
  • Record support tickets, coordinate with appropriate department (maintenance, housekeeping, reservations, logistics, GRO, etc.) and follow up internally and/or guests to have the ticket resolved.
  • Call, email, message to upcoming guests to (a) have pre-arrival form submitted, (b) obtain documents, (c) process documents, (d) register with community and (e) complete DTCM registration, etc.
  • Answer to guest inquires via OTA channels such as Booking.com, AirBNB, etc.
  • Follow up with guests to receive documents/information prior to their arrival.
  • Process and improve the documents (such as crop the image, upload into the system, etc)
  • Record guests' information and documents in Company’s system as well as DTCM (check ID validity, guest age, etc.)
  • Send email to community / register guests prior their arrival with the building.
  • Constantly coordinate with team members to have issues solved.
  • Work with issue escalation and provide reports as required by management.
  • Conduct any other tasks as assigned by management.


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service or relevant field.
  • Regional / hospitality / call center experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player.

Job Description

Role: Manager Shari’a Training (Internal Shari’a Control Group)

Location: Abu Dhabi - Head Office                   

ROLE PURPOSE:

Managing the tasks related to Shari’a training in ADIB by raising the overall level of Islamic banking awareness across the bank and assisting the Head of Shari’a Training Department (“STD”) in the Internal Shari’a Control Division (“ISCD”).

Key Accountabilities of the role:        

  • To assist the Head of Shari’a Training in managing and leading the STD according to best practice in training in general and in Islamic banking training specifically.
  • To manage Shari’a and Islamic banking knowledge base in ADIB group through developing training courses and materials to comply with the CBUAE Shari’a Governance Standard.
  • To contribute in developing comprehensive training courses (in Arabic and English) with all required materials and infrastructure for all levels of employees and addressing all areas of functions in ADIB group.
  • To rely in training on physical and online training using the best technology and programs available in the market with benefiting from online Islamic banking training courses provided by high standard training providers.   
  • To assist Head of Shari’a Training Department in developing training courses on AAOIFI Shari’a standards for ISCD staff and ADIB staff as well.
  • To contribute in developing training courses for front offices staff and DSU staff on marketing and explaining ADIB’s products and structures of financing transactions.
  • To play a highly collaborative role to build solid cross-functional relationships with managers of relevant units.
  • To include the requirements as highlighted by the Head of Shari’a Training Department in training modules once discussed with the division heads.
  • To assist the Head of Shari’a Training Department in preparing reports at the end of the fiscal year, to the ISSC and CEO with the implementation of training plan of that year.
  • Provide ongoing (on-job-training) and guidance to all subordinate staff in order to improve the aware
  • ness and the level of Shari’a knowledge and related skills.
  • Review and approve goals and objectives for all subordinate staff in line with job profile, plans, staff skills and the Shari’a Compliance strategy.          
  • Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge, Technical Competencies Required for this role:

    1. Master’s Degree in Islamic banking.
    2. Solid academic skills in training in Islamic banking.
    3. CISSA and CIPA certifications (or alternative certifications).
    4. Strong knowledge of banking and Islamic banking products.
    5. Strong knowledge of AAOIFI Shari’a Standards.
    6. Excellent communication and presentation Skills.
    7. Excellent training and teaching skills.
    8. Fluent in Arabic and English.

    Previous experience:  

    • More than (7) seven years of experience in Shari’a related functions in Islamic banking.

 This position is responsible for providing administrative and client services support to Relationship Manager (RMs).

Key  Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and client services support to RMs.
