We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join our dynamic and high-performing team. The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified educator with a proven track record of delivering engaging, high-quality English Language and Literature instruction to students of varying abilities. They will be responsible for planning and teaching well-structured lessons that foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking, while promoting high standards of literacy, articulacy, and academic achievement. A strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment for learning, and differentiation is essential, along with the ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students in a supportive and inclusive environment. The Secondary English Teacher will also be expected to contribute to the development of curriculum resources, collaborate effectively with colleagues, participate in professional learning, and play an active role in the broader life of the school, including extracurricular activities. A commitment to maintaining high standards of professional conduct, safeguarding, and cultural awareness within the Qatari context is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, empathy, and a positive, student-centred approach, upholding the ethos and values of The Hamilton International School and the International Schools Partnership.
