JOB DESCRIPTION
A Graphic Designer Intern is responsible for the production of all graphics work and ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the specified requirements, ensuring that the hotels style and Hilton brand standards are maintained.
What will I be doing?
Responsible for the formatting and creation of visual images and copy using computer-assisted programs. Assist the Director of Marketing & Communications in creating a tangible aspect to the services of the hotel through the creation of specific market collateral and artwork. Especially you will be responsible performing the following tasks.
Design Collateral:
Create visually appealing graphics for various marketing materials, including brochures, banners, posters, and promotional items.
Assist in the development of print and digital collateral to support marketing campaigns.
Social Media Graphics:
Generate engaging visuals for social media platforms to enhance our online presence.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop graphics that align with the hotel's brand and messaging.
Photography Enhancement:
Work with hotel photographs to enhance and edit images for use in marketing materials.
Ensure that all visual content adheres to brand guidelines.
Website Graphics:
Support the Digital content team by creating graphics for the hotel's website, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly experience.
Brand Consistency:
Contribute to maintaining and evolving the visual identity of the hotel brand. Ensure consistency in design elements across various platforms.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments to understand design needs and requirements.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for marketing campaigns.
What are we looking for?
Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and typography.
Creative thinking and the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing designs.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of current design trends and a passion for staying updated in the field.
Available immediately and can take up an internship for a period of three months.
