RINA is currently recruiting for a Power Project Senior Manager to join its office in Abu Dhabi within the Green Energy Solutions Division.

Mission

RINA is looking for a Senior Project Manager in the Renewable Energy sector keen to develop a career in consultancy, providing Owners and Independent Engineering for energy projects (solar, wind, BESS, conventional power, grids) within the UAE region, and support in Project Management and Business Development activities.

Job Responsibilities

Main tasks:

•    Project management, proactively communicating with clients, the internal team and stakeholders to deliver client requirements

•    Coordinating the preparation of reports

•    Conducting site visits and supporting the production of reports

•    Coordinating the preparation of proposals 

•    Coordinating the preparation and management of tendering, 

•    Collaborate with Business Development team and Service Line leaders to focus on new business and sales opportunities, client visits and management

•    Participate in promotional activities in coordination with Business Development team

•    Be the focal point for Business Development to evaluate multidisciplinary commercial opportunities and contribute to bidding strategy

•    Engage with current and potential customers to discuss and understand their needs and requirements;

•    Provide support on customer contracts, tenders and quotations

Qualifications and Experience

•    An engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, management) degree or equivalent qualification is essential.

•    Previous over 5 years renewable energy experience is essential, in particular permitting and grid connections procedures.

•    Previous experience working for a Consultancy would be beneficial.

•    Excellent level of written and spoken  English is essential.

•    Knowledge of other languages will be a plus (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese).

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering

Other in Electrical Engineering or Management Engineering
