The Team
As part of the development of its MENA business, and overall global growth, Cundall are excited to announce the establishment of a new office in Riyadh, KSA. Cundall have been working on projects in KSA for almost 15 years, so this is the natural progression for the business, building on long standing relationships and offering the same high standard of multidisciplinary design and consultancy services.
This is something that has been in the planning for quite some time and our new office in Riyadh will complement the existing regional offices in the UAE and Qatar and provide a much stronger and resilient regional business structure.
Our specialist Acoustics Team works on projects throughout the wider MENA region and the team provide consultancy services to clients both independently and as part of a co-ordinated multi-disciplinary offering on larger projects. They work on projects large and small, across a variety of sectors. Established in 2010, the team has gone from strength to strength, and is now represented regularly at industry events, providing thought leadership within the industry.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join the specialist Acoustic Engineering team in Dubai, to work on the design of some of the most exciting construction design projects in the region and worldwide.
Under the guidance of our team of expert engineers this wide-ranging role will offer you the opportunity to develop your expertise in the completion of noise and vibration assessments, computer modelling and design specifications. As your understanding and technical skills develop you will liaise directly with clients to acquire, collate and analyse relevant data and produce high quality reports.
You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, and with accredited professional development programmes from the Institute of Acoustics you will be supported towards Chartership.
The Skills
Having been educated to degree level in Acoustic Engineering or another relevant discipline, you have a keen interest in developing expertise and a rewarding career in this discipline, and crucially - have a passion for excellence in acoustic design in the built environment. You have a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, are able to manage your own time to meet deadlines and possess a strong appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions. The role will include international travel to support projects throughout the MENA region.
Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and a strong desire to use your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
Grad +1 / 2 years
Degree qualified in Acoustics or related discipline, or working towards post-grad acoustic qualification)
Passion for acoustics
Previous employment in consultancy role
MENA region experience
Arabic language skills would be an advantage
