This position will be responsible of the procurement duties and services for the Ethos Energy facilities in the Middle East. This includes being responsible for the procurement administrative duties and processing Purchase Orders to fulfill production requirements and support the business as well as group projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsibility and managing of Purchasing departments.
- Coaching, mentoring and guide Supply Chain resources.
- Manage the purchasing requirements of the business in all its forms to spare parts to fulfill production requirements and procure all necessary products to support the business.
- Managing vendor relationships to improve efficiencies and costs.
- Responsibility for Procurement cost savings.
- Manage the Requests for quotation with suppliers
- Prepare purchase orders for procurement of various materials and equipment, including valves, process instrumentation, pipe, flanges, pipe fittings, etc.
- Prepare inquiry and purchase order status reports.
- Expedite equipment and material suppliers to assure adherence to project schedules.
- Secure information and disseminate sufficiently to maintain project personnel informed as to equipment and material supply status.
- Initiate escalation as appropriate to ensure management awareness of problems that are severe in nature or that are exceeding documented targets.
- Lead in the development of new supply channels and evaluate supplier alternatives to determine the best overall business value.
- Review open order reports and follow-up with suppliers on late or critical deliveries.
- Negotiate the best contract terms for Ethos after receiving the offers from the suppliers.
- Managing local and international logistics activities
- Managing the customs issues
- Preparing the relevant shipments documentations if needed
- Supporting the project managers for logistics and customs purposed
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Knowledge of engineering terminology related to oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical equipment and facilities.
- Contracts management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to establish an excellent relationship with all the business stakeholders.
- Excellence knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Familiar with the use of MS Office software.
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in the procurement management.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the Oil & Gas or Power Generation sector.
- Experience in leading a team.
- Previous experience in logistics and export management

- Master's degree in Engineering
