Job Description
- Participate in the development campaign management related sections in DCTCM's marketing strategy by following guidelines and directions for the GCC and MENA markets covering 7 core markets
- Follow up with relevant marketing departments to collect periodic marketing briefs and build an understanding of marketing brief structures
- Provide support to the analytical search on platforms (e.g. VK, WeChat, Facebook) to identify most effective tools to reach out regional consumers
- Provide support to research activities to build an understanding of consumer trends, behaviors, segments and possible campaign dates in the region
- Assist in the consumer-to-consumer campaign plan development and provide support to identification of scope, components, required investment levels, media frequency, engagement methods and target audiences
- Conduct market research on community influencers to be partnered with during the implementation of consumer-to-consumer campaigns
- Arrange logistics (e.g. setting up meetings, arranging venues, scheduling calls) for meetings with prospecting community influencers/KOLs and celebrities
- Prepare materials (e.g. presentations, visuals etc.) to be used during meetings with prospecting community influencers (e.g. organizations, influencers, celebrities) to provide information on Dubai Tourism's campaigns
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new consumer-to-consumer campaign ideas and build an understanding of all aspects of campaign planning and implementation
- Provide support to activities such as development of success measures, analysis on economic considerations and budget allocation/ optimization to detail new consumer-to-consumer campaign ideas
- Assist in the development of consumer-to-consumer campaign briefs to be shared with agencies by drafting sections, conducting formatting activities, etc.
- Follow up with third party providers and agencies to collect the documents required for the selection process
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to collect information requested by the third party providers (e.g. consultants, agencies)
- Assist in the development and deployment of strategies to push content to consumers and brainstorm on opportunities to amplify the effects of overall marketing activities (e.g. broadcasts, content partnerships, competitions, event marketing, brand affiliation and influencer strategy)
- Coordinate with users/ community influencers and gather Dubai related content generated by them
- Support the development and activation of new communication channels and products such as Snapchat, Periscope and Facebook live
- Act as a project team member in the execution of community-to-community marketing projects and take coordination responsibilities in low complexity projects
- Follow community influencers; communication channels and seek for opportunistic activities to promote Dubai
