Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Day to day inspection and reporting activities
- Work in accordance with ARM QMS and HSE procedures& policies.
- Perform timely incoming inspection of capital equipment’s and Electrical assemblies related to project.
- Understanding project requirements in accordance with applicable requirements, specifications and codes as agreed in the contract.
- Coordinate and witness the commissioning of various capital equipment of land rigs and maintain records.
- Knowledge of materials and methods used in electrical wiring and equipment installations.
- Attending customer complaints and initiating Corrective & Preventive action accordingly.
- Monitor the performance of all control activities and test on electrical systems and capital equipment’s on land Rigs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to electrical quality control.
- Create Non-conformance reports (NCRs), when required. Provide marking and isolation of nonconforming products/ parts.
- Create disposition plan for every Non-conformance report, monitoring status of created NCRs and implementation of disposition.
- Re-inspect nonconforming products/ parts after repair/rework.
- Update calibration status of measuring & testing instruments.
- Ensure all required documentation are completed and reviewed for the projects completed.
- Participate in development of the commission plan, roles, and responsibilities. Implement commissioning plan.
- Need to perform duty as and when required by QC Supervisor and job priority
- Involve in internal and external audits.Perform another work-related task as assigned.
Qualification, knowledge and experience:
- Graduate of a recognized university or technology institute with a bachelor’s degree or Diploma (4 years regular) in Electrical /Electronics /Instrumentation Engineering discipline.
- CompEx ExF/ CompEx Ex 01-04
- 3years minimum experience in Inspection & Testing, preferably with Fabrication/Electrical installation (oil & gas as advantage)
Key competencies/ skills:
Good understanding of the Company Quality Management System
Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, IEC 60079, IEEE, API 500/505, ISO 9001:2015 - Acceptable skills in use of inspection and measuring equipment
- Good computer skills
- Good skills in oral and written communications, fluent English
- Organized, detailed and accurate in work assignments
