Job Description

• Contributes to achieving department’s business objectives by meeting assigned goals.
  
• Delivers safety induction training to new recruits.
  
• Evaluates periodically training needs associated with EMS occupational health and Safety risks, develop appropriate Training programs and delivers training to employees.
  
• Conducts a pre-start-up safety inspection on all installation and full modernization projects in order to identify Potential hazards before they can cause injury and provides his clearance for job start-up.
  
• Conducts periodic in-progress site safety Inspections In order to identify unsafe work practices and conditions that could injure company employees and deliver toolbox talk.
  
• Investigates all reported site incidents to determine the means that should be taken in order to prevent recurrence.
  
• Issues Safety violations to employees who do not Conform to Safety Requirements.
  
• Manages the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) delivered to each employee.
  
• Prepares quarterly safety reports summarizing and analyzing safety inspection results.
  
• ​Develops and updates risk assessment, Health, safety & Environment Plan and delivers documents to clients upon their request.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in the elevators field.
  
• Ability to communicate in the English language fluently.
  
• Ability to produce written reports in the English language with clearly organized thoughts using proper sentence construction, punctuation, and grammar.
