Modernization Sales Specialist

Role Overview

Otis Elevator Company- Bahrain is searching for a highly motivated Modernization Sales Specialist to promote innovative solutions with current and potential customers.

Otis is growing and we are recruiting a Modernization Sales Specialist. The main goal of the role is to achieve Modernization sales growth through creating and managing customer relationships through sales achievement, situational problem solving, and comprehensive account management. The role will be based in Bahrain territory, reporting to the Service Sales manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify, respond to, and win modernization projects to include identifying bid opportunities, preparing bid responses, creating presentations, negotiating with potential customers.
• Forecast and deliver the annual plan of Modernization orders.
• Maintain pipeline and log operational sequence-leads, quotes, orders , factory materials orders.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers.
• Initiate timely capital planning efforts for existing maintenance clients.
• Provide basic elevator consultation to customers by visiting job sites. Deliver customized product and solution recommendations based on client needs.
• Implement the modernization sales processes by working directly with field management on modernization projects and coordinating activities and information concerning the modernization of all equipment.
• Oversee job details throughout sales process, including managing contract documents, creating approvals, layouts and tracking to completion.

What you will need to be successful (adjust for local regulations)

• 3~5+ years Modernization sales experience required.
• Engineering Diploma/ Engineering bachelor’s degree preferred. Driving License is must.
• Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment with superior customer interfacing communication skills.
• Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
• Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
• Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Company factory interface software.
• Presentation skills for both in person and virtual meetings.
• Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills.
• You have a strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills.
• You are target focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization.

As a Facility Management Leader, you will lead in the delivery of the day-to-day facility operations, services, and maintenance activities. The position ensures assets are operated in a cost effective non-impacted manner while providing a safe and comfortable work environment.

As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing flawless execution of the day-to-day facility operations and maintenance activities to ensure efficient service delivery
• Achieving cost savings through facilities standards, maximizing utilization of suppliers and preferred vendors/contractors and by identifying additional efficiency opportunities
• Operating and maintaining assets a in a cost effective and non-impacted manner to maximize added value
• Developing and managing facility operating budgets to achieve goals and objectives
• Leading the development of the portfolio’s facility annual capital plan including infrastructure upgrades to ensure the portfolio’s future capabilities are maintained
• Overseeing building maintenance, installations, repairs and operations (Hard services) - HVAC / electrical, plumbing, lifts, etc
• Coordinating office support services (Soft services) - cleaning, security, reception, mailroom, pest control, hygiene supplies, waste disposal, shredding, misc. repairs, archiving / off-site storage recycling etc.
• Executing facilities work orders, procurement, HSE support and contract management
• Advising functional managers and communications with colleagues regarding projects, processes procedures and coordination services rendered
• Managing building civil works maintenance & repair including fabrics, finishes, grounds, structure, etc.
• Liaising with local government and landlords for facilities operation permits and fitness certificates, building completion certificates
• Being specialized with vendor management: Cranes, OH doors, compressors, diesel generator, etc.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Have 5+ years of experience in Facility Management
• Demonstrate considerable experience in industrial site facility management
• Have knowledge and experience on necessary activities related to general maintenance, HVAC, electrical, construction, etc.
• Have demonstrable project and team leadership experience leading to the delivery of successful business solutions
• Show the ability to strategically plan and implement innovative solutions to improve cost, performance and availability
• Show extensive experience in planning and supervision
