About you
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Officer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, group consolidations, and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. This role is critical in providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making processes within the company.
What you’ll work on:
Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data for reporting purposes.
Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
Perform group consolidations, ensuring that all subsidiary financials are accurately consolidated.
Reconcile intercompany accounts and manage eliminations during the consolidation process.
Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial data.
Stay updated on changes in IFRS and assess the impact on the company’s financial reporting.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial data integrity.
Conduct variance analysis on financial results and provide insights to management.
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by senior management.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
Liaise with external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, and group consolidations.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in applying these standards in a corporate setting.
Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in non GAAP reporting is preferrable
