Job Purpose

Nominated as the “Post Holder”, the Manager- Safety and ERP is the approved party by the GCAA to implement, maintain and develop the Air Arabia Safety Management System (SMS) and to promote safety awareness and accident prevention methods throughout the organization whilst ensuring that the prevention of flight accidents is the Company’s priority. Reports safety performance and arising issues to the Accountable Manager and records actions as per Company’s approved standards.
Key Result Responsibilities

    Acts on behalf of the GCEO to develop, implement and manage safety policies, procedures and manuals in accordance with GCAA rules and regulations and Company’s approved standard procedures.
    Implements, manages and develops Air Arabia Safety Management System (SMS) as well as the Safety Management System Manual (SMSM) ensuring both are managed, maintained and updated in accordance with GCAA and Company’s standards.
    Creates “Safety Cultural Awareness” through proactively acting to promote for safety system and accident prevention methods across the entire company with focus on risk management, prediction of possible safety hazards, prevention of flight accidents, as well as on human factors considerations.
    Applies Air Arabia’s (SMSM) agreed procedures to lead investigations of any incidents that affect the safety of the company, its employees, customers and assets; this includes but not limited to emergencies, AOGs, accidents and flight occurrences.
    Ensures that all company’s employees are educated on safety measures, and its assets, facilities and equipment are managed and maintained as per approved safety standards and that all HSE in the company support the safety measures implemented.
    Develops, analyzes and utilizes the Company’s Flight Data Monitoring System (FDMS) in coordination with Stakeholders as appropriate to address risks related to flights operation. Compiles and analyzes information from FDMS and Safety reports to recommend Safety action plans and corrective measures within the Company.

Key Result Responsibilities (contd.)

    Identifies safety issues and addresses to concerned parties in proper channel for timely action and appropriate corrective measure all in line with GCAA regulations and Company’s policies and procedures related to safety measures.
    Reports safety performance and any arising safety issues to the “ Accountable Manager” regularly ensuring proper recording of needed actions in line with agreed standards and practice.
    Maintains Air Arabia Emergency Response Plan (ERP) in accordance with GCAA requirements and Company’s ERP Manual.  Ensures Emergency plan exercises are periodically carried out as per the SMS requirements.
    Evaluates, decides on and communicates safety related information within the company to ensure all employees, managers as well as 03rd parties are updated and informed with required safety measures,  findings, and action plans when and as needed.
    Acts as the “Secretary for the internal Safety Review Board (SRB), coordinates meetings, agenda and follows up on decisions accordingly.
    Chairs the Safety Action Group (SAG) meetings; updates the senior management with decisions and actions resulting from those meeting whilst closely following up on actions implemented.
    Represents the Air Arabia external meetings on all safety related matters such as those with Civil Aviation Authorities (DCA & GCAA).

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

    Bachelor degree in Aviation/Engineering/Management or equivalent; alternately a diploma or certificate in the related field from a recognized university or institute combined with needed experience and exposure.
    Training certificates in SMS and Human Factors from a recognized safety training institute.
    Must have attended Appropriate Government/ IATA Aviation Safety Course for Safety Managers.
    Skilled report writing is required to ensure that complex reports are properly and clearly described.
    Project Management certificate or alternately the proven corresponding working experience is a must.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    Fluent in English Language.

 
Work Experience

    10 years of experience in the Aviation/Airlines industry,
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in Safety department in a similar capacity.
    A sound knowledge of Safety Measures and procedures adopted in Aviation.
    Has extensive knowledge and exposure on Civil Aviation Authorities; familiar with rules and regulations of CAA pertaining to Safety, policies, procedures, manuals, etc.
    Experienced in leading teams with heavy work-load schedules and ad-hoc scenarios.
    Very good knowledge and exposure on airline and Flight Operations formalities and standard regulations; good understanding of operations staff’ thought process.
    Very good knowledge and working exposure to Safety Audit/Quality Assurance practices.
    Demonstrates high accuracy and attention to both results and details.
    Ability to express ideas and concepts clearly.
    Possesses effective problem solving and decision making skills.

Scope of Position

The Assistant Guest Services Manager is responsible for supervising the bell team, door team and valet to provide luxury service to all guests and colleagues. The Assistant Guest Services Manager will oversee the daily operation of all driveways, parking spaces are all well-coordinated, staffed, clean and always providing exceptional standards. The Assistant Guest Services Manager will lead the team in turning moments into memories for our guests.

Responsibilities

Departmental:

    Coordinate efficient and effective day-to-day running of the department, including administrative and scheduling functions, events, rosters, manning, team building, team catch up ensuring exceptional outcomes for guest and staff.
    Supervise all bell, door & valet operations and ensure complete guest satisfaction.
    Monitor and report daily valet parking statistics, daily bellman productivity, driver productivity and luggage efficiency.
    Ensure daily operation of hotel cars, taxi, and other transportation resources are well managed and organized on all driveways as per hotel standards.
    Ensure all the FLHSS&E requirements and procedures are followed by the team.
    Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including safety, security, and hygiene requirements.

Colleague Relations:

    Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and address any conflicts or issues that arise.
    Train, direct and supervise the Bell Desk & Valet daily operation of the department.
    Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service.
    Maintain open communication channels with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and colleague satisfaction.
    Take ownership of all colleague concerns, complaints and wellbeing to ensure a positive and

 Guest Relations:

    Ensure customer satisfaction in accordance with the applicable MOHG Legendary Quality Experiences (LQEs)
    Create WOW moments to surprise and delight in house guests.
    Listen to any customer complaints and resolve them effectively
    Be knowledgeable of all in-house and arriving guests.
    Be aware of all daily events in the hotel.
    Provide clear directions for all guests travelling outside the hotel.
    Work closely with Group Reservations and Front Office to ensure all group movements are well managed in a highly efficient manner which is reflective of the hotel standards.

Skills and Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent.
    Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is preferred.
    Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a 5-star hotel environment.
    Minimum 2 years Concierge experience in a luxury hotel.
    Strong command of MS Office products, Alliants, ALICE, and Hotsos.
    Hotel re-opening experience or renovation experience is an advantage; UAE experience is a must
    Ability to understand guest needs and expectations and to deliver superior customer service
    Ability to understand effective approaches of communication with different individuals.
    Very good verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Arabic or other languages is preferred.
    Proven ability to manage, motivate and lead a large team in a multi-cultural environment
    Trainer skills and ability to mentor and develop team members.
    With strong leadership skills and works well with pressure in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer for our Dubai office located in DIFC.

Responsibilities:

    Handle all issues related to Compliance, Financial Crime Systems, regulatory interactions, and controls with the DFSA within Ebury DIFC Branch.
    Provide assistance to the DIFC Branch on all Compliance and DFSA related activities.
    Offer timely advice to Front Office Business Lines and Support Functions about complying with the prevailing regulations and managing regulatory risk.
    Support the Head of Compliance in developing a Compliance Control Framework by performing various tasks:
        Collate Compliance MI's for specific Financial Crime and Risk Management Committees.
        Develop and maintain a Compliance Monitoring Program and Risk Matrix.
        Act as the primary contact for Regulatory Bodies and manage Regulatory Registrations and submissions.
        Execute the annual affirmation process.
        Ensure timely and complete Annual and Quarterly returns to the DFSA.
    Provide guidance on the regulatory scope of permissions and their impact on permitted business activities, ensuring all employees comprehend the importance of compliance.
    Monitor regulatory changes and conduct impact analyses.
    Assist the On-Boarding team with the client onboarding process and manage all related ad-hoc queries.
    Handle the creation, monitoring, and testing of the Compliance Monitoring Plan and compliance risk assessment framework.
    Conduct regular face-to-face training sessions on risk management for DIFC Branch employees.
    Ensure accurate and timely external Suspicious Activities Reporting on the goAML portal.


Requirements:

    An in-depth understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management.
    Excellent communication skills.
    Proactive working manner and strong relationship-building skills across the business.
    Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, and a professional certification such as CAMS, CRCM or similar is required.
    Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within financial services, particularly in a management role.
    Prior experience dealing with regulatory bodies (preferably DFSA).
    Familiarity with UAE regulations and international compliance standards.
    Must have strong analytical skills and decision-making ability.
    Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    Proficient in using Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
    Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
