The Position:

Maintains the independent quality system to monitor compliance of the operations in the Middle East region to the applicable Part 145 maintenance requirements and QMS standards. This person reports to the Senior Manager Quality, Middle East & Africa, Part-145 Operations.

Conducts scheduled/assigned audits (repair shop, line maintenance, supplier, SMS) in a timely manner, and reports the observations and findings on audit reports accurately. In case of audit findings, customer complaints, or other product issues, raise corrective/preventive action requests to the responsible parties and follow up to ensure timely and effective closure.

Process authorization applications of Certifying Staff and other stamp holders. Conducts applicants’ screening and interviews, as required, and maintains essential records of staff to support authorization decisions.

Maintains and improves Quality System Manuals/Procedures. Reviews the accuracy of the procedures, requests the process owners to suggest required changes, reviews the changes suggested and submits to QM for approval. Communicates QMS changes to relevant parties and issues Quality Assurance Notices.

Prepares presentations/ reports for Management Review meetings ensuring accurate representation of data and trends.

Conducts QA Continuation Training (Regulations training, MOE awareness, etc.) as assigned.

Maintains Quality Records/Documents in the company servers; maintains clutter-free and effectively organized structure of Quality Folder and updates the contents as soon as the documents are amended.

Investigates safety incidents and significant product or process issues and report the findings of the investigation to the relevant management team.

Reviews Capability Amendment requests based on procedural requirements and issues approval to ones satisfying the criteria. Maintains the records supporting the approval decision.

What We’re Looking For:

BS, BSEE Degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Industrial, Electronical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or similar disciplines.

At least 5 years of Quality Auditing/Assurance experience in the Civil Aviation Maintenance industry.

Good knowledge of EASA/GCAA/UKCAA/FAA/GACA Part 145 regulations.

Auditor certification in either AS9100 or ISO9000 standard.

Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

Must have strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Ability to use MS Office Programs.

Team player with good interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel based on the assignment.

Ability to communicate in Arabic is desirable.

Partner with the best

As Materials Planning and Execution Leader, you will be leading the materials planning program for all product lines within the Abu Dhabi site, as Baker Hughes improves its processes, procedures, and operating performance. The Materials Leader reports to the Plant Manager and indirectly to the Senior Materials Manager.

As a Materials Planning and Execution Leader​ you will be responsible for:

Managing the master planning, material processes and systems to ensure production ready status

Preparing and updating production schedules and purchasing needs to ensure efficiency

Ensuring operational alignment with production plans and KPI's to deliver products on-time

Optimizing inventory and process improvements to create effective enhancements

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to share data and information

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Have Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from an accredited Engineering university or college

Have minimum 6 years’ experience in a materials planning and plant scheduling

Have minimum 6 years’ experience in Wellhead Manufacturing

Have minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas industry

Have Pressure Control Equipment experience preferable - API 6A /API 16A

Have a good knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP or ORACLE

Have experience in Surface pressure control manufacturing plant,

Be able to demonstrate experience in a leadership or supervisory role

Demonstrate practical experience in the above-mentioned areas of technical and managerial expertise, gathered in prior positions.

General Responsibilities

Design and Implement a robust, scalable automation solution for infrastructure provisioning and operations that optimizes configuration management processes

Developing architectural blueprints for enterprise systems that optimize business processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive innovation.

Researching emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure that the organization's technology stack remains competitive and up-to-date.

Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of architectural components.

Evaluating and recommending technology vendors, tools, and platforms to support the implementation of digital transformation initiatives and enterprise systems.

Cloud Strategy

Designing and deploying cloud-based solutions that efficiently leverage cloud resources, optimize costs, and meet performance and security requirements.

Design and execute a comprehensive, resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient strategy for cloud migration and adoption by leveraging the Cloud Adoption Framework methodology

Creating detailed cloud strategy roadmaps, outlining the phased approach to cloud adoption, including pilot projects and large-scale migrations.

Selecting the appropriate cloud service model (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment model (public, private, hybrid) to fit business needs.

Designing cloud-native services, such as serverless functions, managed databases, and AI/ML services, to enhance application capabilities.

Establishing governance and compliance frameworks for cloud environments to adhere to regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Creating detailed cloud strategy roadmaps, outlining the phased approach to cloud adoption, including pilot projects and large-scale migrations.

Evaluating cloud service providers, technologies, and platforms to recommend the most suitable options based on business requirements.

 

Resiliency, Scalability,

 

Designing resilient systems that can recover quickly from failures, minimize downtime, and ensure data integrity.

Regularly reviewing and testing system resilience, scalability, and security measures to identify potential weaknesses and implement necessary improvements.

 

 

CI/CD and Microservices:

 

Design a resilient, modular microservice ecosystem leveraging domain-driven design principles, which enhances agility in application development, expedites time-to-market through CI/CD integrations, and dynamically scales according to business needs.

Budgeting/Capacity Planning

Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to comprehensively understand projected growth, upcoming projects, and system demands, allocate resources effectively, and continuously update the capacity plan to reflect actual usage, new business needs, and technological advancements.

Performing cost-benefit analyses to ensure the organization is getting the most value for its investment.

 

 

Project Management
