Project Manager, Penspen, Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are currently looking for Project Manager to be based in Abu Dhabi:

Technical Knowledge and Skills (Discipline Specific):

Minimum 15 years of experience in Project Management roles (Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager, Project Engineering Manager)

07 Years working experience with ADNOC group (Preferably ADNOC Onshore, ADNOC Gas and ADNOC Offshore)

Must have experience in managing large Detailed Design scopes and successful project execution as an Engineering manager for ADNOC (CONCEPT, FEED ) / EPC Projects

PM is accountable for technical integrity of all project deliverables (including, but not limited to Drawings, Calculations, Datasheets, Technical specifications, Material Requisitions, Technical bid evaluations, Schedules, MTO’s, Work volumes) in accordance with industry standards, codes and client specifications.

Lead, coordinate and manage the discipline groups and the engineering deliverables quality level to avoid non-value-added work to optimize manhours spent on projects.

Responsible for Quality documentation and report any non-compliances for process improvement.

Must have strong experience of managing projects on 3D platforms.

Must have experience of managing subcontractors effectively.

Audience needs and ensuring understanding.

Project Integration Management: Able to proactively manage the scope of the Project entire life cycle.

Schedule Management: Manage and determine the overall Project duration and when activities and events are planned to happened. Estimation of activities duration, taking into account requirements and resources availability.

Technical Knowledge: Should have strong engineering / design background and should be able to effectively manage all technical disciplines for ensuring successful project delivery.

Contract Management: Should have experience of managing contract with the client

Quality Management: Ensure the project deliverable meet the required needs of the stakeholders by developing and monitor a quality management plan

Budget & Cost Management: Should have the ability to develop and agree budgets for the project and change initiatives, and to control forecast and actual costs against the budgets

Conflict Management: Should have ability to resolves conflicting information and the different priorities of key stakeholders to inform effective decision-making.

Regional Knowledge and Experience: Should have strong UAE (or within GCC) engineering consultancy experience, having worked with NOCs, IOCs and EPC Clients in the region in the capacity of Project Manager. Prior engineering / design experience will be an added advantage.

Qualification / Experience (Skills):

Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent.

Project Management Professional certification

Mechanical/Piping/Electrical & Instrumentation/Process engineering background preferable

- Proactively search for and identify opportunities for cost reduction wherever possible. Benchmark the performance of their sections against available statistics/indicators and identify areas for improvement. This will include knowledge of technical advances, market developments and other relevant changes in the supply market.

- Critically evaluate reports generated by reporting staff to assess performance of their respective sections and take corrective action where required.

Previous jet fuel supply management experience and MCIPS certification are required.

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)

Professional Diploma in Purchasing & Supply from CIPS or equivalent OR Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a Business Management/Supply Chain/Engineering or related field. Experience preferably in an Airline or other Blue Chip Organisation in the middle management level with strong financial acumen (need not have worked in the Finance Department).

Knowledge/skills

The job holder must have a proven track record of analytical decision-making, with strong commercial acumen. He/she must have strong organisational and negotiation skills The job holder will often be required to influence the decision making process of line departments. To do so effectively, the job holder must have strong interpersonal skills, experience and confidence to adequately deal with senior personnel.

Summary:

The role of the Operations Project Manager – Health is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and priorities and within budget. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee delivery throughout its life cycle. The incumbent will be required to execute all project initiatives as directed by the COO – Health MEA.

The role of the Operations Project Manager – Health is to understand external/ internal clients’ needs and challenge requests, and translate them into clear and concise business requirements. The PM will coordinate with the Nextcare PMO and define action plans to be delivered accurately and on time.

Main Tasks:

•Clearly understands clients’ needs, challenges assumptions, and ensures projects are viable from a cost-benefit perspective and are the best possible solutions.

•Leads projects transparently and productively, applying standard project management practices.

•Manages handoff between Projects – Health team and the end users, ensuring smooth implementation and troubleshooting with the least operational downtime.

•Develops the statement of work, budget, plan, and schedule and communicates them effectively.

•Works directly with other related departments to manage project actual and impact on the budget.

•Plans resource requirements and ensures optimum use of shared resources, as per project plan.

•Facilitates user acceptance testing and ensures suitable training plans are incorporated into project rollout.

•Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders promptly and clearly. This includes regular team updates on Health project execution, such as project status meetings, monthly project reviews, and other collaboration opportunities.

•Facilitates change management process within the business to ensure project benefits are ascertained.

•Demonstrates an ongoing commitment to professional growth in project/program management and other vital areas.

•May require to visit and work closely with Nextcare’s other operating entities to carry out project requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

•Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree.

•5+ years of relevant experience in a similar project management role.

•Expertise in delivering high-quality program outcomes according to the scope, work plan, quality standards and budget.

•Physically fit to carry out duties.

•Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.

•Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills
