We are looking for an objective Internal Auditor Specialist to join our world-class team to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Responsibilites:
Develop and improve the internal audit policies and procedures based on the internal audit standards, audit results, risk, internal controls, and best practices, including the scope processes related to internal audit missions and tasks.
Provide relevant information under reviews such as findings and recommendations to the management under the supervision of the audit manager and provide assistance to the audit manager to enable the effective execution of various reviews, including all audit tasks.
Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
Obtain, analyse, and evaluate operations documentation, required reports, data, etc.
Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document the process.
Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
Document processes and prepare audit findings memorandum.
Conduct follow-up audits to monitor audit findings and required corrections.
Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding the sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
Experience & Education
Minimum of 3 years of experience within an internal audit field.
Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
Proven knowledge of risks and internal controls.
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Minimum of bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or any other related field.
Kindly note: Must be willing to provide an attested housing lease in from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi under your name, spouse or parent maximum 2 months of employment.
