A day in your life with us:

Payment is handled in a reliable, efficient, accurate and friendly way.

Customers are guided to the appropriate check-out support to the check-out co-worker in their daily work.

To Supervise the Cashiers and complete the check-out process in a quick and friendly way, making the last stage of the shopping experience positive to all customers.

Supervising & assisting your team on all necessary and complex tasks.

Qualification

Ability to prioritise and organise work and the work of others in order to make the most efficient use of the time available.

Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

Experience of check-out service gained in the retail industry.

Courteous and efficient Customer service & communication.

Taking responsibility in handling & solving problems Quality , accuracy & commitment to work.

Summary

You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Events Executive is responsible to act as a sales specialist in the area of events. This covers the relationship building and account management, as well as event management.

 

 

Qualifications

Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management

Minimum 2 years work experience as Event Executive in hotel operations

Administrative and interpersonal skills are a must

Preferably bilingual speaker (Arabic & English)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Good understanding of selling techniques and events knowledge

Good problem-solving skills

Budgeting and Finance

Prepare the annual business plan for the department.

Monitor the department’s budget and proactively implement corrective action where necessary.

Control cost whilst ensuring guests get value for money.

Communicate effectively within the organization at all levels using the most appropriate communication method for the matter concerned.

Conduct regular briefings and ensure follow-up.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

Ensure all established standards of operation are implemented.

Work together with Accounting to prepare and implement inventory procedures

Ensure the correct implementation of all cash-handling procedures in the departments under your supervision.

Establish and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure repeat business.

Ensure buffet set-ups, service style, table top and overall presentation of the Buzz and Room Service product are in accordance with the hotel’s image.

Constantly seek to profit engineer by monitoring cost of sales and implementing revenues-increasing products/programs activities.

Work together with the Food & Beverage Manager and Marketing Communications to achieve high impact exposure of Buzz in the market.

Qualifications

Candidate must have 1 yr experience with the same role.
