A bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering (including but not limited to Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Computer, Software, Electronic, Marine, Ship Captain, etc.) or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, Petrochemical.
Must have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.

Job Description
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of quality and safety management of all food served to guests in their respective region. This position is accountable for the successful implementation of assessments related to the Domino’s International food safety and quality assurance programs.
(35%) RESPONSIBILITY # 1 – Manage the Food Safety & Quality audit System of manufacturers and distributors facilities
• Proactively identify food safety risks by monitoring 3rd party certification process; proactively develop mitigation strategies and ensure those are communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely fashion.
• Conduct audits of key existing suppliers’ in-region manufacturing facilities, identify improvement and compliance opportunities, and develop specific action plans and compliance deadlines. Ensure action plans and deadlines are communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely fashion. Obtain samples, as appropriate, for testing in either Ann Arbor or 3rd part lab facilities.
• Ensure vendor compliance documentation, including contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Code of Ethics documents, and Pure Food agreements are compliant, up-to-date and on file.
• Ensure compliance with relevant food safety and quality regulations; monitor consumer trends and prospective regulatory activity and develop forward-looking communications and compliance strategies.
• Participate in periodic calibration exercises between DPI auditors and with 1st/3rd party auditors.
• Validate that supplier lists for respective region are complete and up-to-date at all times.
• Gather supplier food safety certificates from markets and verify that they match the information provided by markets on the supplier lists.
(20%) RESPONSIBILITY # 2 – Manage the Domino’s Global Food Safety & Quality program for existing and new International franchisee markets
• Partner with franchisees to ensure the quality and safety of all food served to guests by assisting in the development and implementation of compliant food safety and quality assurance programs, practices, standards and specifications.
• Proactively identify compliance opportunities on the part of international franchise partners, suppliers and store, and ensures corrective actions are implemented within an appropriate time frame.
• Train franchisees on how to drive continuous improvements in food production, processing and handling procedures to minimize risk and improve quality.
• Proactively analyze KPIs and audit results in your markets to identify potential risks and improvement opportunities. Synthesize findings and proactively report to relevant DPI and global quality assurance stakeholders’ group.
• Systematically identify, package and propagate best practices both from within the Domino’s system and from external sources.
• Lead and provide support in the development of new products and new suppliers to support the company’s strategy for expansion in International markets.
• Identify and build partnerships with International suppliers capable of supporting Dominos Product Strategy for new product roll outs.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with International and U.S. manufacturers in order to disseminate information on new processes and improvements of products and ingredients.
(20%) RESPONSIBILITY # 3 – Develop, review, and approve quality ingredients and suppliers for new and existing markets and manage variances
• Assist markets in developing suppliers for key commodities (cheese, sauce, meat toppings, etc.) that are collectively capable of supplying Domino’s quality product to all stores in your markets. Proactively communicate with active suppliers to ensure they are up to speed on any process or product enhancements.
• Support product evaluations in field for market specific core and non-core products (cheese, meats, and others).
• Communicate Domino’s Pizza’s proprietary formulas, specifications and quality standards to suppliers. Conduct evaluations of manufacturer’s proprietary production controls, quality processes and product analyses to verify that the manufacturer is capable of meeting Domino’s Pizza standards.
• Troubleshoot all core product quality issues (dough, etc.) identified through testing and audit programs or through stakeholder inquiry to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Proactively develop suppliers for key commodities (cheese, sauce, meat toppings, etc.) that are collectively capable of supplying Domino’s quality product to all stores in your markets. Proactively communicate with active suppliers to ensure they are up to speed on any process or product enhancements.
• Identify areas where products/ingredients need improvement. Coordinate activities to verify the impact of any product quality improvements, required equipment changes, and process optimization on end product quality.
• Manage all food and equipment variances. Review and assess all International variances based on established procedures for food safety, quality, operational use, shelf lives. Collaborate with regional Ops team to clarify any food safety and quality elements to enable full review. Provide actionable feedback to variance stakeholders. Document and record granted product variances in written specifications/standards guides, and proactively communicate changes to relevant internal stakeholders.
(15%) RESPONSIBILITY # 4 – Provide support to the Domino’s Store Food Safety Program
• Visit at least one store during each market visit, assessing the store according to food safety principles.
• Support the DPIQA team where needed with drafting/reviewing guidelines, SOPs, policies, training material, etc… pertaining to the Store Food Safety Program.
• Support the SFS team with the governance and risk mitigation at the international market level.
• Complete all Franchisee market QA grading exercise annually.
• Help move all markets who need improvements to at least satisfactory but ideally to exceed expectation.
(10%) RESPONSIBILITY # 5 – Document all interactions with franchisees including but not limited to phone calls general correspondence and trip reports
• Document all pertinent information (including food safety and systems audits) in a complete and timely fashion ensuring. its quality and accuracy.
• Write and provide report to supplier after audits. Include corrective actions for deficiencies and a timeline for completion.
• Follow-up on all requests made by DPII regarding information or documentation needed from the franchisee.
• Collect/review all finished product specifications relating to development of products and packaging.
Qualifications
BS degree in food science, microbiology, agricultural science, chemistry or related field required
Fluency in French is preferred
3-5 years food quality/auditing experience in a multi-region QSR industry
HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) certification and strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures, preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with suppliers, franchisees and internal team members.
Proven ability to identify opportunities, set goals, work independently, and be self-motivated.
Problem solving and decision-making skills.
Project management skills including the ability to prioritize and organize, create action assignments, verify completion of tasks and follow up.
Travel up to 70%.

What You Will Do:
