THE ROLE

You’ll be responsible for growing the FARFETCH Private Client business and elevating the client experience for our most valuable clients through acquiring new VIP prospects, developing sales from retaining existing top clients to establishing new partnerships and creating bespoke events in collaboration with management and marketing colleagues.

 

The focus will be on working with a portfolio of some of the top clients within the company all while attempting to engage new potential Private Clients and acting as an ambassador of the FARFETCH Private Client program in the ME.

 

The ideal profile is someone with strong networking and client development skills, solid business acumen, a deep knowledge of fashion and the FARFETCH brand, and a strong ambition to achieve targets. The candidate must have considerable experience working with high profile clients, be capable of developing strategies to enable the achievement of annual

sales targets, and a track record of excellent teamwork and client service skills. Ideally, the candidate would have past exposure to the world of luxury personal shopping or VIP sales.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

  • You will collaborate across functions with Regional Private Client and  Global Client Development management to design and execute a client development strategy aligned to the overall Private Client and Farfetch vision, with the overall aim to acquire & retain ultra-high net worth clients within the Middle East region.
  • You will collaborate with the Private Client Stylists to strengthen their skills to create and drive client retention and migration through consistent coaching and mentorship.
  • You will identify core clients through data driven results across the ME and work with the team to increase engagement and sales.
  • You will lead and execute local strategy, with guidance from Global Client Development team, to strengthen client relationships and expand personalised service based on specific business needs.
  • You will use data to profile key top tier clients, potential new clients, and their networks for quality new client acquisition, converting them into loyal clients.
  • You will devise branded initiatives to encourage client introductions.
  • You will ensure the Stylists have a client-centric approach, act as a FARFETCH Ambassador, and maintain brand consistency and guidelines.
  • You will act as a local expert and point of contact for sharing perspective across cross-functional teams, providing data driven client feedback to stakeholders locally and globally.
  • You will collaborate and work closely with the Global Client Development team.
  • You will support assigned events and travel within allotted budgets, align and report on performance initiatives.
  • You will anticipate new and upcoming trends to support ideation for client acquisition.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Strategic mindset with a deep understanding of the nuances of the Middle Eastern client and extensive experience in a luxury retail and/or service-related industry and understanding of luxury culture.
  • You have a proven ability to engage and build client relationships (clienteling) and have an awareness of international and local customs.
  • You’ll be commercially aware and able to understand and interpret analytics into recommendations and drive ROI.
  • You’ll have a CRM background to make data driven decisions with proven results.
  • You’ll have an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think outside the box
  • You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication.
  • You’ll be an excellent team player but also able to work independently.

The Marketing Specialist role for the Emerging region will be part of our growing team based across EMEA. What You Will Do:

  • Digital Activity - Support Field Marketing Manager to identify and implement regional digital campaigns, including content syndication, webinars, social media, etc.
  • Marketing Reporting- Support Field Marketing Manager to report outcomes of activity across all projects. For example, webinar registrations/attendees, etc.
  • Collaborate with European and Regional teams to implement relevant campaigns for the Emerging region, identify gaps and opportunities
  • Regional Events – Support Field Marketing Managers across the region with their logistical requirements. Maintain the events support kit, collaborating with local agencies/Field Marketing Team accordingly
  • Formula 1 Event and Sponsorship- Organizing activity to support local delivery for F1 sponsorship
  • Channel Marketing – Support Field Marketing Manager and Channel team in implementing co-marketing campaigns, supporting partners in the process, communicating assets when needed, following on budget until completion of the process
  • Ad hoc activity - Maintain the Marketing team calendar always ensuring it’s up-to-date and available, manage the regular communication of the calendar with the sales teams on behalf of the Field Marketing team; assist the Field Marketing Manager to track budget, raising purchase orders for suppliers and ensuring payments are on time.
  • Supplier Management- Work closely with marketing agencies, event suppliers, and other stakeholders to deliver marketing activity
  • Corporate marketing- Keep up to date with corporate marketing activities so as to leverage regionally e.g content (Whitepapers/blogs), events (Virtual/physical), website updates, etc.

 

 

 

Qualifications
