Roles & Responsibilities:

HSSE Inspections

  • Ensure construction and operation comply with HSSE regulations.

  • Undertake daily HSSE inspection and recommend necessary corrective actions to the PMCs / Supervising Consultants and Contractors.

  • Carry out accident investigation, confirm root cause and propose recommendations for improvement.

  • Undertake planned & random HSSE audits and recommend improvement.

  • Track and monitor HSSE violations.

  • Monitor the implementation of HSSE program.

  • Monitor HSSE performance of PMCs, Consultants and Contractors.

  • Conduct random HSSE inspections to batching plants and labor camps and ensure relevant regulatory requirements are met.

  • Spend majority of the time undertaking field inspection and follow up inspection.

Reporting:

  • Communicate and report HSSE performance to the line management.

  • Review and approve key HSSE documentations for project HSSE management.

  • Produce inspection reports, accident / incident analysis trends as necessary.

Other duties

  • Conduct HSSE induction and awareness training .

  • Implement payment deduction procedures to employees who do not comply with HSSE regulations.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Construction Management or Environment science.

  • Professional memberships such as IOSH,IIRSM, etc.

  • 4+ Years working experiences in construction HSSE in infrastructure projects.

  • Working experience in GCC countries preferred.

  • Must have valid Qatar driving license.

  • Experienced in contractor assessment and qualification regarding HSSE requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Good team player.

  • Computer literate, good report writing skills

  • Able to prioritize work.

  • Must be able to speak and write English or Arabic

•Implement physical and system scrapping according to the set standards.
• Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse workers, fairly assign and distribute workloads.
• Train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers.
• Manage system settings, Auto-Run and ship confirm of deliveries.
• Motivate & deploy DBS culture.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Monitor collection, customers and sales force activities to minimise overdues and stolen days.
• Provide documentation for legal recovery processes and assist in organising monthly credit meetings with sales force to minimise the company’s credit risk
• Analyse financial information and setting credit risk categories, credit limits, and authorising the release of orders on hold to ensure bad debts are kept to a minimum and cash is collected in accordance with the Jotun credit policy.
• Organise and monitor monthly credit meetings including follow up from customers and sales force on their payment/settlement commitments.
• Monitor and control debts within the agreed credit term to customers to reduce the company risk exposure.
• Monitor the credit limits and payment trends of various customers by reviewing periodic reports to mitigate exposure to potential bad debts.
• Make sure the security of account receivables by reviewing the AR confirmation with each customer.
• Provide the credit analysis report and credit information correctly and timely for the management team to make right decision.

• Strengthening customer relation through regular visits.

• Make customer visits for all defaulting accounts to construct payment agreements and to observe the customer market status.
