What you will be doing 

Our Chief Innovation Officer will play a critical role in finding relays of growth for the Group, driving change, instilling and cultivating innovation capabilities within the group and a people-centric innovation culture. 

You will need to set the right innovation strategy, and a strategy for each of these departments, as well as understand the Chalhoub Group, its current dynamics, pain points and future-looking potential. You will need to garner both financial and operational support from key stakeholders – both internal and external – and enable your teams to take ownership of their brands, and make good of the milestones and budgets set by themselves for their success. You will foster a culture of innovation, within your teams and within the Group, in order to attract successful innovators and entrepreneurs.

What you'll need to succeed 

Full management responsibility of diverse departments, including but not limited to: Greenhouse & Ibtikar, The Beauty Makers, The Fashion Makers (To Be Created) and Corporate Innovation (To Be Created).

  • Developing a holistic innovation strategy for the Chalhoub Group and a strategy for each of your departments – long and short-term – with key objectives and KPIs for each direct report and brand owner
  • Setting milestones and timelines to be respected for the right achievement of long-term goals
  • Garnering support from business stakeholders, such as fellow C-level executives, employees, customers and business partners
  • Finding smart money and the right funding – internal and external – to support the innovation drive of the Group
  • Creating a portfolio of winning brands, concepts and innovations and a roadmap to fill a healthy pipeline & drive growth across the SGII team
  • Introducing and overseeing new startups and innovations as they are presented to the market and group
  • Assessing competition and maintaining overall market awareness and forward looking intelligence
  • Ensuring innovation provides value to customers and cultivates long-term relationships with those customers
  • Driving clear strategic innovation plans in collaboration with relevant team members
  • Supporting the Strategy & Growth team with its priorities and reorganizing the Innovation team in order to prioritize answering to these priorities
  • Creating speedboat models to conduct specific missions and penetrate specific priority segments & markets
  • Establishing the right partnerships outside the Group to nurture our growth with the innovation global ecosystem
  • Building a winning roadmap to look for new companies, new brands, new segments, and new industries where the Group can invest to establish a first-mover advantage, with little to no territorial limitations
  • Prioritizing projects to meet timelines efficiently, to adapt to changes in priorities quickly, and to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with a focus on a drive to completion and tangible impact
  • Establishing the Chalhoub Group as a recognized Innovation leader among industry groups


People Management:

  • Building a strong network of connections outside the Group who can support collaboration and provide valuable feedback innovation processes
  • Establishing clear processes for generating ideas, and empower teams to learn and perform at their highest potential while embracing diverse thinking
  • Evaluating and balancing risk/reward for innovation and organizational objectives
  • Putting together financial and non-financial motivational tools, to cater for alignment between Group-wide objectives and personal/start-up objectives

Required Profile:

  • Master of Business Administration from a top-10 Business School
  • Backgrounds in finance, project management, business development and strategy are recommended.
  • Strong business judgement and decision-making skills

  • Working in a leadership role
  • Must possess an inquisitive, entrepreneurial and creative mind.

Job Scope

  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitor’s practices, and other sources.

 About the Role

 
We are offering a HR Business Partner a fantastic opportunity to work in a large global matrix environment and influence key stakeholders.

You will be joining an HR team of 35 people in the EMEA region covering Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Global Mobility, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, Benefits and HR Operations.

As an HR Business Partner in our team you will provide support and be a trusted advisor to the various segments in country on all HR related matters.
 

What You'll Do
  • Partner with the Country Leader(s) and Segment HR Directors to align HR strategy with business strategy and act as a change agent to business through process design, implementation and approaches that support business objectives.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team in the preparation and support of segment talent planning in country.
  • Ensure all new joiners are welcomed and on-boarded successfully, providing tools for successful integration to the practice and office.
  • Work with the Segment HR Directors and local leaders to oversee the performance management and career develop process within your Country and support managers in providing continuous performance feedback and advise on career and skills development, coaching discussions and performance improvement plans.
  • Provide counsel, assistance, and problem-resolution services to employees at all levels, guided by company policies and relevant employment legislation, managing risk for the firm and become a trusted advisor.
  • Work with your Leaders to distribute the results of the engagement surveys and develop and tweak action plans, and ensure commitment to the plans from local leadership.
  • Manage the annual compensation process including analysis of market data, recommendation of salary and bonus awards for individuals including both base and variable pay.  Support leaders on communication of the information.
  • Work with segment HR and Global Mobility Centre of Excellence on matters concerning immigration, visa applications/ renewals, international assignments and other global mobility matters.
  • Work with the EMEA and global shared solution centre to ensure administrative matters are dealt with accurately and timely.
  • Partner with Payroll; HRIS; and Compensation and Benefits on all matters relating to your country.
  • Responsible for local country compliance.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for continued development and improvement of the HR function in your Country (and across EMEA).
     
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive HR generalist experience in a HR Manager or Business Partner role, ideally within a complex and fast paced environment; Professional Services experience preferred.
  • Excellent employment law knowledge and exposure to complex employee relation issues.
  • Strong influencing skills and with the gravitas to command professional respect at all levels and proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
  • A true commercial and pragmatic hands-on approach.
  • Ability to independently solve problems and make recommendations to remediate issues and highly effective interpersonal skills to support colleagues at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member. 
  • Minimal travel may be required to London or other offices in country.

Role       : Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Head of Cyber Defense Center. The cyber threat intelligence analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of internal and external threat intelligence. The employee works closely with information security teams, Information Technology Department (ITD) and other business departments within the organization to identify threat root cause and develop corrective and preventive measures. The Threat Analyst works closely with information security analysts and managers to protect ADIB’s brand, data, and ecosystem from existing and potential cyber threats
   
Key Accountabilities of the role     
  • Participate in the execution of cyber threat intelligence programs aligned with ADIB and Group Information Security Department (GISD) strategies
  • Provide expert analysis on strategic threats, actors, and TTP (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures)
  • Build an understanding of current vulnerabilities, response, and mitigation strategies from incident reports and vulnerability reports
  • Maintain an intrusion database and analyze data from sensors, network security devices, and applications
  • Evaluate the effect of threats on systems, applications and processes at risk
  • Gather information security threat intelligence requirements to drive collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence
  • Establish criteria to evaluate and manage internal and external threat intelligence sources
  • Analyze information security threat intelligence from internal and external sources to proactively protect ADIB’s environment

Your Responsibilities


  • Monitor and manage arti-facts and intelligence hosted by one or more TIPs
  • Create and follow detailed operational process and procedures to appropriately analyse, escalate and drive dissemination of threat intelligence
  • Tune up and optimise TIPs as required or requested
  • Correlate and analyse intelligence using the TIP and other systems to prioritise and increase the relevance of threat intelligence.
  • Respond to inbound requests via phone and other electronic means for technical assistance with threat intelligence related queries and tasks
  • Respond in a timely manner (as per and within documented SLA) to tickets/cases of support, incident and others
  • Document actions to effectively communicate information internally and to customers.
  • Maintain a high degree of awareness of the current threat landscape
  • Maintain an extremely high degree of awareness of the current UAE threat landscape, including TTS and Threat Actors
  • Participate in knowledge sharing with other Analysts and writing technical articles for Internal Knowledge Bases.


Your Qualifications


  • 7+ years of experience in information security in areas such as security operations, intrusion detection, incident analysis, incident handling, log analysis, and intrusion detection
  • 4+ years of experience in one of the following: vulnerability management, threat hunting, incident handling, threat intelligence and penetration testing
  • A Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering or a closely related degree.
  • Experience in using SIEM tools such as Splunk, ArcSight, LogRythm, Qradar, NitroSecurity, etc.
  • TCP/IP knowledge, networking, and security product experience
  • Possible attack activities, such as scans, man-in-the-middle, sniffing, DoS, DDoS, etc., and possible abnormal activities, such as worms, Trojans, viruses, etc.
  • CCNA, CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, CEH certification would be preferable.
