Our client is a highly successful company operating across Saudi Arabia.

Their focus is on oil & gas storage & transportation with a number of business interests across this sector.

They are now looking to source a CEO with high level responsibility for redefining operational excellence, maximizing shareholder return and creating / implementing an agenda for growth:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure generation of sustainable value for the shareholders
• Ensure maximization of Company profitability
• Create a platform for future Company growth
• Realize Company Strategy by guaranteeing its full implementation
• Foster a culture based on customer convenience and reliability of services provided
• Guarantee safety of operations, employees and communities
• Manage external stakeholders including regulators and investors
• Ultimately fulfil Company’s Mission and Vision


KEY DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES

• Ensure full achievement of the strategic goals set by the Board
• Establish a Company culture in line with the defined Strategy
• Set objectives for management and monitor their achievement
• Guarantee successful completion of the initiatives that translate Company Strategy into tangible
revenue and profitability growth, monitoring results and steering criticalities
• Oversee development of any new opportunities envisaged by the defined Company’s Strategy
• Lead the development of the investment plan
• Review and assess the business case of potential investments
• Present to the Board the recommended investments for growth and sustainability
• Elevate the Company to operational excellence
• Guarantee the application of operational best practices
• Guarantee the implementation of initiatives to achieve expected efficiency and effectiveness levels
• Guarantee the achievement of the expected commercial evolution and goals
• Identify commercial full potential of the Company and accordingly set commercial objectives for the
management
• Define commercial targets for new businesses
• Represent the Company with external stakeholders
• Discussions with shareholders and other investors
• Presentation of business and financial results to the market
• Management of the relationships with main shareholders and regulators
• Promotion of the Company’s image through coordination of external communication and social media


QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITIES

• 20+ years of experience including previous positions as a CEO or in Top Management
• Strong familiarity with the Energy & Utilities industry
• International experience with strong familiarity with the KSA and broader GCC context
• Arabic and English speaker

Please note Saudi Nationals are preferred for this role.

Job Description

    Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall Group strategy and mission
    Develop strategies, systems, and structures to achieve the mission and vision in line with the visions and directions in the local market in Saudi
    Oversee the creation and production of effective, high-quality proposals and reports for Group CEO and the board
    Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with Group short-term and long-term objectives
    Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications.
    Ensure the financial performance of the organization is optimal, overseeing P&L stringently
    Monitor all site activities to ensure optimal performance of company assets in accordance with regulatory and company standards

The Successful Applicant

    Saudi Nationals preferred
    Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent (MBA preferable)
    Minimum 15 years of experience in a strong operational environment with minimum of 5 years managerial and operational experience
    Proven track record of successfully managing operations and commercial teams
    Executive Leadership and PMP Qualification is advantageous
    Experience in waste management / environment management industry preferred.

    Be a key CEO to the Group CEO and adviser on Oman’s needs on business process reengineering design and improvement alternatives, tools and methodologies to be applied, prioritization of potential programmes to be delivered and the resource requirements etc.

Ideal Profile

    MBA or Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or similar
    20+ years career in a Business including Management
    10+ years experience in Executive management level positions
    5+ years experience in Real Estate in Oman
    Strong visionary with excellent leadership to make a difference, planning and driving improvements and growth.
    Previous track record of self starter approach and strong team spirit to bring people together to achieve greater objective together in the Oman region and in larger Global businesses.
    Used to dealing with Government Officials and regulations needed in Real Estate and environmental issues.
    The proven ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
