Job Description:

• Creation, decoration, and presentation of wide variety of cakes, pastries, cookies, pies, breads, etc.

• Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings etc. ensuring presentation will be beautiful, precise, and as per standards set

• In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition

• Oversee a team of junior pastry cooks and other staff members as necessary

• Maintain up to date knowledge about pastry arts and ingredients


Requirements

Qualifications:

• 40 years old and below

• Diploma in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or any relevant field

• At least 2 years of proven experience in the same role preferably from a high-end casual dining/stand-alone restaurant

• Well-versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations

• Willing to work in City Walk

• Must have a sample works

• Immediate joiners will be prioritized

As a  Night Manager-  Arabic Speaker manages night-hour assistance of Guests and Guest services to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out.


 What will I be doing?


As An Assistant Night Manager-  Arabic Speaker, you will manage night-hour assistance of Guests and Guest services to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out. A Night Supervisor contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:


Occupy the hotel lobby and other public areas

Represent the Night Manager, when absent

Act in accordance with all security and emergency procedures and manage the instigation of these, as required

Ensure that all Guest complaints managed, recorded and resolved promptly

Support the Night Auditor with all Front Desk and accounting related duties

Produce nightly reports, as required

Inform Departments of special requests, early/late departures, room changes and other Guest requests

Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas

Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required

Serve your role and Team in an environmentally-conscience manner

Key responsibilities

- Manages a team in the execution of specific operational health, safety, security & Environmental tasks

- Possesses sufficient knowledge and is trained in the execution of physical safety & security and crisis management tasks within the specific country/operation

- To provide support to the project by maintaining a visible presence in site.

- To assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of the HS&E programs in the field.

- Implement all applicable legislation and applicable standards, to ensure compliance.

- Support in developing a Site Safety Management Plan (SMP) for the project to ensure a safe work environment for all site employees, contractors, visitors, and community.

- Regularly audit the SMP for compliance and update to ensure the alignment with project scope and conditions.

- Organize and schedule required safety staff and first aid coverage.

- Provide direction, support, training, inspection, and resource to all site staff.

- Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately.

- Participate and assist the WH & HSSE management in the investigation of incidents to determine root cause, and corrective actions where necessary.

- Ensure incident corrective actions are followed up on and completed.

- Ensure injured workers are offered modified duties and documentation has been completed.

- Monitor and follow up on modified workers in the field.

- Supervise the firefighting project & maintain the FF maintenance contractor.

- Ensure & verify field staff training and competencies; consult the WH management team and SAA Area HSSE Manager for compliance and action plan.

- Review safety obligations of the clients and ensure they are carried out as per the terms of the agreement, and communicated to the WH management team and SAA Area HSSE Manager

- Ensure new hires are orientated to the site, and all required documentation is completed accurately and forwarded to Maersk head office-Jeddah.

- Ensure safety boards with postings including but not limited to: Health and safety policy, inspection and audit results, site hazard assessment, location of first aid, etc. are maintained and current.

- Prepare for and participate in audits.

- Communicate, coach, and assist the field staff to ensure that all safety expectations are understood and met.

- Perfuming site risk assessment & mitigation plans & execution.

- Support the Area HSSE Manager for any other related tasks.


We are looking for

- NEBOSH NGC qualification minimum/Safety Engineering certification

- IOSH Technical qualification minimum

- As required by local law, this role is for Saudi nationals.

- 3 to 5 years’ experience in HSSE field.

- A proven track record of delivering and maintaining Health, Safety & Environmental Management Systems

- An ability to develop and adapt strategies to encourage performance

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Experience of accident investigation

- Ability to problem solve without supervision

- Driving License

- Experience Wearhouse & cold storage safety (Desired)

- Experience Depot safety (Desired)

- Good English speaking & writing

- Good technical reporting
