Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Sales North Europe & Middle East, the Sales Manager performances a fundamental role in creating and winning business opportunities within the area assigned and to further establish Vanderlande’s status as a market leader in a very competitive market.


In close coordination with the Account Managers / relationship owners, to be responsible for identifying and creating business opportunities in the market, building and maintaining strategic partnerships with customers, and ensure alignment with the roadmaps and business plans.


Qualification and job requirements   


Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent;

More than 8-10 years of commercial working experience;

Saudi National

Excellent verbal and oral skills in English and Arabic language.

Excellent team player, take an active role in actively and successfully cooperating with the multi-disciplinary Middle East Team

Working experience in the relevant industry is an advantage;

Willingness to travel within short notice;

Ability to work within an international work environment and amongst different cultures;

Proven successful in a highly competitive market


List of key activities 



Ownership


Proactively lead the development of our APS project business in the Middle East

Lead the development of the APS Middle East Projects Sales pipeline.

Conduct market research, generates leads, together with the account managers, gathers the relevant information on the DMU’s and bidding process and develops win-strategy for projects.

Support the Middle East team in defining the Middle East overall strategy.

Work closely with the Account Managers in negotiating terms and conditions for project opportunities.

Coordinate sales/engineering/maintenance in production of priced tender bids and sales documentation.

Lead presentations of solutions to the customers, including pricing, products and systems layout and how the proposed system will operate to meet their commercial requirements.

Build Reputation With Customers


Proactively lead the development of our Accounts relationship and enhance our competitive position in the ME market.

Create effective working relationships with all departments both in the Middle East and globally (as required e.g. EMEA, VOICE) to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded.


Drive To Win


Lead the development of the APS ME Projects Sales pipeline.

Conduct market research, generates leads, gathers the relevant information on the DMU’s and bidding process and develops win-strategy for projects.

Key Tasks

Job Profile

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.

2 to 5 years of sales experience.

Ability to develop in depth knowledge of the products and the markets

Role Purpose:

Key Accountabilities and Activities:

Strategic & Operational Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of strategy, budget and business plans for the Marketing and Communication Dept.

Develop Marketing Division’s policies and procedures in alignment with the IsDB’s strategic objectives and global best practices and ensure that every stakeholder follows the same.

Design and deliver creative and strategic campaigns to build the IsDB brand with key stakeholders and audiences.

Put in place measurable metrics to gauge the impact of various marketing campaigns and to make improvements.

Promote the brand through a programme of live events, external and internal communications, digital presence including the website and social channels, and marketing collateral.

Responsible for maintaining and protecting brand identity across all IsDB platforms and channels.

Collaborate with colleagues across the IsDB and the marketing division to deliver fully integrated campaigns.

Advise leadership on strategic marketing initiatives to fulfil the aims and aspirations of the IsDB.

Manage, and collaborate with, internal stakeholders to ensure marketing activity supports the specific needs of the bank, including regional hubs.

Be accountable for all marketing collateral, ensuring the IsDB brand is protected.

Share knowledge on the latest trends in marketing and brand management with colleagues in the Marketing Division, IsDB and wider community.

Keep abreast with the latest and best practices in the areas of marketing and brand management and implement the same in IsDB.


Leadership Responsibilities:


Lead the newly formed marketing team, fostering a high-performing team culture to enable achieving the Division's objectives.

Manage the performance and resources of the Division through delegation of authority, setting stretch objectives and providing regular feedback on results at a department level, promptly addressing areas of underperformance.

Monitor and assess the skills and capabilities of the Division, and determine the actions needed to increase the Division's impact.

Support filling in key capability gaps through capacity development and recruiting efforts.

Job Requirements:

Academic qualifications

Master’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related area.

Minimum number of years and nature of experience

 Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing in a global organisation or business, of which 5 years in managerial role.

Strong experience of project management and team management

Extensive experience working on integrated marketing campaigns, with demonstrated measurable success.

Strong social and digital campaign experience, including social marketing.

Experience in managing design and production of creative and engaging digital and print materials and publications.

Job Summary


D&B Tunnel Site Design Manager reporting to Tunnel Construction Manager and responsible for design interface for the A&P Site Support team provided by AECOM.


Job Duties:


Responsible for AECOM's design support (as required) for the ongoing works – reporting to Drill & Blast Tunnel Construction Manager. Main interface with the Client's technical team. Technical review, control and design approvals; Client meeting attendance as required; Contractor meeting attendance as required; Technical and design management support for all Adits and Portals site teams; Main interface between design offices and sites support team. Preparation of technical summary reports for each site;


Proven track record in leadership of ground engineering/tunnels design teams and management of design delivery and construction.


Possess strong problem solving and inter-personal skills.


Communicates well across all levels of the business


Demonstrates high level of accountability and independent decision making


Works closely and collaboratively with colleagues, client and delivery partners


Strong written and verbal communication skills; the ability to write a clear and concise technical report is essential


Experienced in design of tunnels and underground structures /heavy civils works for rail schemes including slopes, foundations, retaining structures, shafts, tunnels etc.


In depth knowledge of the GCC working conditions, including client expectations, geotechnical conditions, standards and codes
