Job Description
Nurse is a healthcare professional responsible for providing patient care, monitoring health conditions, and supporting doctors in treatment procedures. They work in hospitals, clinics, and community health centers to ensure patients receive compassionate and professional medical assistance. Nurses play a vital role in patient recovery, health education, and maintaining hygiene standards. Their duties involve both clinical and emotional support to enhance patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs with accuracy and care.
- Administer prescribed medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Assist doctors during examinations, surgeries, and treatment procedures efficiently.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
- Educate patients about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatments.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control within healthcare environments.
- Respond quickly to medical emergencies and assist in resuscitation efforts.
Skill & Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Strong observation skills to detect health changes early.
- Proficient in patient care techniques and medical equipment handling.
- Ability to work long hours under stress and pressure.
