KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the first point of contact at the school reception, welcoming parents, visitors, and students in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries efficiently.
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Section, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining records.
- Assist in the coordination and organization of school events, meetings, and communication with parents.
- Maintain accurate student and staff records, attendance logs, and other confidential information.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the section by coordinating with teachers, assistants, and administrative staff.
- Support new staff onboarding and student admissions in collaboration with the section head.
- Manage and update internal systems, databases, and communication platforms as needed.
- Handle urgent or unexpected situations calmly and efficiently, escalating issues when necessary.
- Uphold the school’s values and ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for all community members.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Educational Background:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Administration, Education, Communication, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a school environment or in a similar administrative or receptionist role.
- Previous experience supporting leadership or working in a multicultural educational setting is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills in English and French (Arabic is an asset).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and school management systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Problem-solving attitude and capacity to work under pressure.
