Job Position: Business Development Manager

Job Location: Atan, Ogun State
Employment Type: Full-time
Industry: Manufacturing – Recycling Company

Job Overview

• The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the recycling and manufacturing industry.
• The role requires strategic thinking, market analysis, and hands-on execution to expand the company’s market share and revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company objectives
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and contracts for clients
• Negotiate and close deals to achieve revenue targets
• Monitor industry trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of services and projects
• Prepare regular reports on business development activities and performance metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or client management
• Experience in the recycling or manufacturing industry is highly desirable
• Professional certifications in sales, marketing, or business management are an advantage

Required Competencies & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the recycling and manufacturing sector
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Proven track record in achieving sales and business development targets
• Analytical skills for market research, business forecasting, and competitor analysis
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and lead a team when necessary
