Job Summary

The Project Pursuit Manager has accountability for the business growth of Instrumented Control and Safety System (ICSS) in the Western region (Saudi Arabia & Bahrain), focusing on all Greenfield and large-scale projects. Driving strategic plans in collaboration with the regional sales team, strategic account team, and GP3 organization. This will require creative thinking, making the winning Strategy for large-scale projects, establishing relationships, committing to results, flexibility, and an understanding of the cultural and business norms.

The Western Region (Saudi Arabia and Bahrain) is a key growth and strategic region for Systems and Software Solutions. This is an important role to meet the growth plans and expand Emerson ICSS's footprint. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the consolidation of Emerson leadership in the automation market as well as in positioning Emerson as a preferred technology partner. We are looking for an expert professional with a diverse and proficient group of people. The role has high visibility within Emerson and has the potential to achieve outstanding results.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Own the greenfield and large-scale projects, capture market intelligence, and build the funnel of opportunities in the region.
• Develop and implement sales strategies for large-scale projects, maintain an accurate project pursuit list, and provide monthly reports and status updates.
• Early engagement to support GES+ Contractors during the Feed stage, influence the project specifications, and drive the technology discussion/selection to increase winning chances
• Prepare and present project forecasts, pricing surveys, competitor intelligence, and work to develop a good appreciation for Emerson's products and solutions to strengthen Emerson's position
• Work closely with the proposal generation group to ensure all offers reflect customer needs, cost-effective solutions, with the target of competitively priced and submitted on time.
• Take a proactive role in working with the Emerson Global Project Pursuit Team and Key Account Managers to identify, qualify, and pursue control system projects to achieve order conversion and increase the potential for process systems and solutions, products, and services.
• Develop long-term relationships with senior management within customer accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of Emerson.
• Meet or exceed territory financial objectives required in support of the System and Software Business unit business plan.
• Collaborate with and support the sales team and proposal team to achieve common objectives and Sales targets.
• Promote the business benefits of Emerson Industrial Software technologies to customers.
• Profile accounts and establish a clear understanding of business plans and process control requirements.
• Understand customer business drivers and ensure inclusion within Emerson proposals.
• Improve revenue and profit by developing strong return on investment models and a strategy for the projects.
• Actively drive collaboration with WA Sales and Businesses
• Drive and achieve Safety Targets and Own Safety Culture
Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

Who You Are?

• You are an experienced sales and account management professional
• Have experience in competitive business in Saudi Arabia & Bahrain
• Have handled green field large-scale projects with a consistent track record of success
• You have validated skills in Sales Pursuits, business development, and planning
You are highly motivated to drive business growth

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (engineering degree desired)
Confirmed sales and sales management experience

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Prior experience in oil & gas or petrochemical/chemical accounts
