We need Lower & Upper Elementary Homeroom Teachers
Aligned with the recommendations of the International Taskforce on Child Protection, we hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection.
Note:
- Background checks will be conducted on all successful candidates.
- Due to Kuwait laws, a work/residence visa will not be issued to individuals who test positive for HIV, Hepatitis B/C, and/or TB.
- Age restrictions apply on work visas issued by the local government.
- BBS follows a US/Canadian curriculum for subjects taught in English; candidates applying for these positions, and, who are holding a North American teaching qualification and/or a minimum of 2 years teaching experience within a North American and/or international school environment, will be given preference.
Lower & Upper Elementary Homeroom Teachers
- Certified with a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood, Child Studies
- Responsible for teaching English Language Arts, Science, Math, and Art
- 3 or more years of homeroom experience teaching all subjects
- Able to work well with team
- Solid standards based instruction, lesson planning, strong classroom management skills and organization required
- Able to incorporate technology in classroom instruction
Preference will be given to teachers whose mother tongue is English.
