SAFETY ANALYST, Qatar

We need a SAFETY ANALYST,

Primary Purpose of the Job:

Execute work activities for Performance Monitoring & Reporting, including all related requirements, systems, processes, performance measures and improvement strategies. Ensures that VI HSE Central Functions and RLC HSE Monitoring & Reporting is in line with QatarEnergy HSE Policies, Senior Management expectations and Industrial Cities strategic business objectives.

Drive Safety and operational excellence practices in Ras Laffan HSSE Management in coordination with IHL Divisions’ Heads and in collaboration with various Subject Matter Expects (SME)within Corporate HSE and Industrial Cities Departments / Respective Assets’ Operators to timely ensure RLIC compliance to all HSSE related mandates.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Min 5 years experience in general HSE management.
• Min 3 years knowledgeable in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical related industries or similar.

Educational Qualifications:

• BEng/BSc in Engineering, Science, or related discipline is required.
• Post-graduate business qualification would be an added advantage.
• Professional international certification in HSE would be an added advantage (e.g.: NEBOSH IGC, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate effectively across teams.
• High computer literacy and proficiency in systems data analysis and management.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written command of English, knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
