Job Summary:
As an HVAC/AC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment is running efficiently and up to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC/AC equipment in residential and commercial buildings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC/AC systems and develop appropriate solutions.
- Inspect equipment on a regular basis and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Perform necessary upgrades and modifications to existing systems to improve efficiency and functionality.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work and communicate any changes or updates to management and clients.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and provide assistance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or trade school training in HVAC/AC systems preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC/AC Technician.
- Certification or license in HVAC/AC installation and repair.
- Strong understanding of HVAC/AC systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
