Wood is recruiting for an Accountant - Senior to join our Business Consulting team focusing on financial practices and regulatory compliance, with a proven ability to support business strategy through accurate financial analysis, reporting, and advisory.
This position is fully based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Provide expert financial consulting and support to project teams, focusing on cost control, profitability analysis, and investment
- Develop and Update Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) for all the projects
- Ensure compliance with international and local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements.
- Develop and implement financial controls, procedures, and best practices for project accounting and cost tracking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance of consulting projects and optimize financial outcomes.
- Assist in external and internal audits, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses.
- Support financial due diligence and M&A activity when applicable.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in consulting for oil & gas companies.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic consulting environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with multinational consulting firms
- Familiarity with project-based accounting and joint venture financial structures.
