About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Personal Shopping Manager for Harvey Nichols who will manage the personal shopping department to initiate and drive a specialist and personalized selection for exclusive customers and contribute to maximize sales, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Roles and Responsibilities:
Focusing to increase year on year sales of PS department in line with the Division business plan, motivating and developing PS teams to achieve better results and contribute between 1.7% to 2.5% of total DS sales
Elevate the customer experience through management of the PS top customers with other business partners.
Formulate a personal shopping strategy and plan together with projected budget requirements, in order to build and uphold the image of the organization
Identify opportunities for business growth and create detailed plans for action in partnership with relevant
Stakeholders
Analyze customer data to identify short and long term commercial opportunities
Functional Roles and Responsibilities:
Keep abreast of the market trends and competitor activities at all times.
Formulate a personal shopping strategy and plan together with projected budget requirements, in order to build and uphold the image of the organization.
Work with other business units in order to create concepts for promoting personal shopping experience to customers.
Build and develop relationships with each Personal Shopping customer. Cultivate a culture of excellent customer service, leading by example.
Ensure each customers needs are identified to recommend a range of products, maximize upon all sales opportunities and resolve customer concerns effectively and promptly.
Maintain relationships with key customers by informing them of new arrivals, inviting them exclusively for previews, promotions and activities conducted in stores.
Understand customer profiles and feedback to Marketing, Buying and Planning on current consumer trends. Contribute to buying practice in line with customer needs
Ensure the customer database is maintained and updated with all the information pertaining to the exclusive customers
Formulate a personal shopping strategy and plan together with projected budget requirements, in order to build and uphold the image of the organization.
Develop, grow and establish networks in the market to build effective and sustainable business relationships resulting in the growth of the Personal Shopping customer database.
Create and analyze reports in order to gain understanding of current performance trends, to identify commercial opportunities.
Maintain confidentiality of customers’ personal information and assure the information will be solely utilized for the department store.
Guide and motivate staff to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles.

Provide leadership and direction to team members towards the achievement of goals and objectives
Coach and motivate team to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles.
About You
A successful candidate should hold a bachelors degree with a minimum of 5years experience of successfully running a profitable retail store within a luxury environment. A demonstrated history of providing exceptional services outcomes through a highly motivated team with a passion for luxury womens ready to ware.
Additional Requirements
5+ year of specialized sales management training
Ability to lead and motivate teams
Strong collaboration skills
Strategic mindset with a track record of strong decision making
7-10 years of retails sales experience of premium brands.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead motivate and develop team-members.
Proven track record of building collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to evaluate business opportunities and identify potential risks.
A proactive approach and initiative
To multitask and work on a variety of projects simultaneously.
