Brief Description
Barilla Middle East is seeking to recruit a Sales Specialist for the GCC markets. The individual will be based in Dubai and will report to the Sales Manager of Barilla Middle East.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic commercial professional, skilled in customers’ management and trade marketing. The individual will ensure the achievement of turnover, profitability and development goals for the assigned geographies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, proposing and implementing business opportunities, by closely following KPIs and defining and overseeing the implementation of customers’ plans.
Key Accountabilities
To be the key interface with Distributors and key accounts, in order to ensure the development of the distribution model and guarantee product presence, rotation & implementation of price policy and promotion guidelines, as well as managing distributor proactively and effectively.
To ensure effective joint business plans by developing an annual strategy based on background customer history and previous sales, ensuring the realization of annual customer meetings.
To ensure that the definition and the agreement of contracts with distributors and key accounts are in line with approved local market strategies and allocated budget.
To manage the allocated budget for the assigned area, according to given objectives and overall strategy.
To ensure the constant monitoring of assigned markets’ results to maximize Barilla’s performance in the assigned area, with support of the Finance Manager, by analyzing client/brand/country/area performance, while collecting and reporting competitive intelligence in terms of products and services positioning.
Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Management, Economics, International business, Marketing or similar.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales & customers’ management in GCC countries, preferably within FMCG sector.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Fluency in English, both oral and written. Arabic will be considered as plus.
Good knowledge of MS Office, advanced in Excel and Power point.
Results oriented, collaborative, reliable and with a can-do attitude.
