Job Title: Facilities Engineer
Job Summary:
The Facilities Engineer will be responsible to supervise and manage Soft and Hard FM Services at clients offices and for overseeing the maintenance, and daily operation of the facilities within the organization. This role requires a strong technical background in engineering principles and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve any facility-related issues. The Facilities Engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders, including operations, maintenance, and facility management teams, to ensure the facilities are safe, well-maintained, and conducive to efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for FM standards and delivery of IFM Services contract through KPI's/SLA's
Coordinate a client performance reviews against output on a monthly basis
Provide professional advice to the client on FM matters associated with the site
Accountable for the financial performance of the site service
Responsible for adherence to business controls and CBRE processes and procedures
Responsible for initiating value add initiatives at site
Ensure essential site soft and hard services PPM and remedial works are completed
Ensure essential site Critical systems (UPS, FM200, Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, M&E HVAC) and non-critical systems and equipment are maintained
Manage suppliers and service providers who provide services and support the site operations
Ensure that all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements are in place at site/s within remit.
Manage all emergency procedures for the site where required working alongside client
Manage all accident reporting at site
Able to review quotations for AMC and negotiate price and scope with sub-contractors, based on UAE requirements
Able to review service reports and action findings (MEP)
Strong decision-making skills (MEP)
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering)
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management - Logistics & Supply Chain domain
3. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
4. Proven experience in managing facility-related projects and maintenance.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks within established timelines.
6. Solid understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
10. Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound decisions.
11. Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations related to facility management.
