The Role
You will be responsible for :
Managing the GL reporting and processing of journals.
Maintaining fixed assets register.
Liaising with AR/AP teams on month-end closing activities.
Timely and accurate month end closing and monthly reporting.
Liaising with auditors and preparing audit schedules.
Evaluating and executing M&A and other investment opportunities.
Analysing valuation and returns.
Oversight of transaction due diligence.
Negotiation of transaction documentation including sales and purchase agreements and other legal documents.
Deal structuring and other transaction related matters.
Liaising with business stakeholders across all levels to achieve transactional goals.
Managing relationships with banks and other stakeholders on financing requirements.
Keeping abreast of the changing business landscape in order to identify opportunities to drive both organic and inorganic growth.
Managing a team of 6-10 people.
Ideal Profile
You are a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
You have at least 3-5 year experience within a Accountant (General Ledger) or Corporate Finance / Strategy role, ideally within the the Accounting Industry, Consulting and Staffing / Executive Search industry.
You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
You are willing to undertake 30-60% travel.
