Overview
The primary role will be to provide comprehensive HR administrative support by identifying current and future hiring needs, advertising job openings online and designing employee referral programs. To be successful in this role, you should have an HR academic background along with work experience in sourcing, interviewing and evaluating candidates.
Qualifications
Previous administration experience within an office environment.
Sound academic record, evidenced by a Bachelor’s degree, or higher. 3+ years of proven experience in full lifecycle recruiting (preferably both as an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter).
Experience of working within the event industry will be considered highly advantageous.
Demonstrable hands-on experience with various recruitment & selection processes (screening, headhunting, shortlisting, phone interviewing, competency testing, reference checks etc).
Consistent track record of sourcing, recruiting, and closing extraordinary talent across all seniority levels.
Excellent planning, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize between multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment. Must be strong detail oriented.
An expert user of LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Reliable with a good time keeping record.
Full driving license is essential.
Strong communication – fluent in English, both verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently.
Good level of computer skills. ( Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
Mature approach to dealing with people at all levels of the organisation.
Reliable with a good time keeping record.
Prepared to work additional hours if necessary.
Responsibilities
Perform a support function in the recruitment of personnel, distributing CV’s to Managers and arranging interviews etc.
Working with leaders within the organization to track the ongoing hiring needs of the business.
Managing end-to-end recruitment of open roles including understanding business needs, drafting job specifications, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting candidate interviews and managing the recruitment process with various stakeholders, reference checking and offer management.
Proactively research and identify recruiting trends in order to develop creative and competitive sourcing strategies.
Source and screen candidates for multiple job openings simultaneously.
Conduct phone screenings and interviews using various data-driven recruiting and selection tools/methods to effectively filter the candidates and create applicant shortlists.
Liaise with staff regarding Annual leave requests, record the requests and ensure sign-off by the relevant Managers.
Assist with crewing, sourcing freelancers, accreditation and obtaining visas as and when required.
Assist with updating the Company crew booking system daily to ensure the records are correct.
Ensure that the Company’s policies, rules, procedures and obligations are observed in carrying out the above duties.
