Job Purpose
Manage the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Nawah's Enterprise Performance Management Framework (Strategy, Business Planning and Business Performance Framework) through Strategic Planning & Strategy Management and Business Planning and Business Performance Management.
Activity:
Development, implementation and continuous improvement of Nawah's Enterprise Performance Management Framework (Strategy, Business Planning and Business Performance Framework), including People, Process, Procedure, Programs and Tools.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Review the performance of Nawah's EPM framework (efficiency and effectiveness of the framework) and develop recommendations/proposals for the improvement of Nawah's EPM framework
•Collaborate with CDV Manager for the development of the Short, Medium and Long term EPM framework improvement priorities and plans.
•Manage and execute initiatives to improve Nawah's EPM framework.This includes but is not limited to:
- Strategic planning and strategic performance management frameworks, processes, mechanisms and/or tools to ensure focus, clarity and alignment within the organization consistent with Nawah's strategic approach
- Business planning frameworks, processes, mechanisms and/or tools, as appropriate, to ensure Nawah efficiently and effectively develops, resources, communicates and assigns accountability for its 5 year business plan.
- Change controls and change management processes, mechanisms and/or tools to ensure the Nawah's Strategy and Business Plan remains current and subject to appropriate governance
- Performance monitoring, reporting and analysis frameworks, processes, mechanisms and/or tools to ensure Nawah accurately, efficiently and effectively monitors, measures, reports, and controls its progress toward its near and long-term business objectives
- Controlled documents that set out and institutionalize an effective, uniform Nawah approach to performance measurement, including the development of effective KPIs, target setting, documentation of KPI definitions, calculation methods and measures to ensure data integrity in reporting
Strategic Planning & Strategy Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Collaborate with CDV Manager on the development, implementation and management of Nawahs strategy architecture and strategic plan.
•Collaborate with CDV Manager on the conduct and facilitation of the periodic strategy reviews.
•Review and assess the adequacy of Nawahs strategic targets and strategic initiatives for achieving them.Make appropriate recommendations to the accountable strategic owners.
•Advise and support accountable Managers with the development and ongoing management of their strategic initiatives.
•Other strategy related activities as may be required from time to time.
Nawah's Business Planning and Business Performance Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Manage the Business Plan on an ongoing basis, including the implementation and management of appropriate change controls to ensure the Business Plan remains current and subject to appropriate governance.
•Collaborate with Human Resources and/or other relevant stakeholders to ensure that enterprise performance management (objectives and results) cascades and interfaces seamlessly with individual employee performance management.
•Collaborate with Finance to ensure that business planning is tightly linked to the budgeting and financial forecasting process.
•Review and analyse business performance and develop proposals for initiatives to drive performance improvement. Collaborate with the Process Improvement and Project sections to systematically identify areas of the organization with performance gaps to be targeted for improvement initiatives.
•Manage formal periodic reviews of business performance and lead or track (as appropriate) the implementation of the associated actions.
•Other business plan related activities as may be required from time to time.
The incumbent is expected to perform standard activities as per attachments 4 & 5 in the Job Description procedure (relating to Health, Safety and Environment, Security and Business Continuity, People Management, Excellence and Quality Management
Minimum
N/A
Preferred
•Project Management Professional (PMP)
•6 Sigma Black Belt
Minimum
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Engineering Management, Operations Management, or similar.
•7 years of relevant experience
Or equivalent as stated in the Job Description Procedure (HR-PRC-0004).
Preferred
•M.B.A., M.S.M or other relevant advanced degree.
•Greater than 12 year's general/line management, planning & performance management, and/or management consulting experience.
•Experience in the commercial nuclear power sector.
•Prior working experience in the Gulf, preferably the UAE.
